ive recieved a nice little amount of money in the past few months and now ive treated myself to a brand new pc 
It’s an advent pc with the following specs:
3.06Ghz Intel Pentium 4 processor
512Mb DDR RAM
80Gb hard drive
128Mb Geforce FX5200 graphics card
Windows XP
it ill be delivered in roughly a week 
I can’t wait to get it and play all my mates again on ET yeeehaaaaaaa!!!

coz my current pc has a S3 card all it does is make my computer restart itself if i click to play any games
hahah lol. that card will of course run it. probably at 100FPS on full graphics. no worries man.
I got all the same specs apart from the processor, and tbh even with all the eyecandy turned down I cant make a stable 76fps outside, but I reckon as your processor is about 2ce as fast as mine all should be well 
I had that same card, with a better overall computer than you have now, and I couldnt get above 125 fps, in GAMMAJUMP. Now I have a Geforce 4 Ti 4200 and I hit 500 fps (Maximum) but I cap it @ 333

my S3 card on my current computer very rarely let me pley et because all it would do was make my computer retstart itself and then i would find files missing on some important stuff on my computer…and if i did get it going i only got 30 fps max rofl and i couldnt play radar at all.
as long as this graphics card lets me play the game with no problems and its faster than my S3 then i dont give a toss
i just wanna play ET and the other games i wanna play :bump:
Running a Athlon 2800 on me current box with a 128mb Gf4 Ti 4800 SE n 512mb DDR400 - can hit well over 300 mark no probs yet I still limit @ 73/125 (toggler) 
- Got a K7-2600 with a 128mb Gf4 Fx5200, 1Gb DDR400 and 280GB HD total on its way… tommorow!
Some advice for ya tho m8 when your computer has arrived and setup. Probably more than likely be better of picking a decent OS rather than the bundled XP Home they give ya with it I bet. XP Pro or 2K tbh. Format up straight away and clean up any shite, tweak some bits and peices for general performance (www.tweakxp.net) and remove IE/Outlook Use Firebird and Thunderbird tbh… Update Direct X, Find drivers thats stable and runs decently (ask around on Forums for yer card and games) THEN consider rattling on all teh shit, eg, games, movies whatever basically. Make a quick fix point if its XP so any troubles you can just resort back to the first setup with everything clean installed and known to be working. Just what I would do and going to do, again. :>

You missed a joke yes. Firefox is the browser’s third name (Phoenix - Firebird - Firefox). I was being sarcastic.
btw, why do so many people think the Geforce FX 5200 is a good grapghicscard? It actually sucks at 3d rendering, look at this graph from thomshardware (its benched in COD, but that has almost the same engine as ET).

yeah, ive got the fx 5200, i can cap it at 43 all the time on reasonable settings, but cant go any higher than 80 fps for any sustained time frame. cpu is athlon xo 2000+, o/c’ed to 2085mhz
