W: ET Problem: ET.EXE still running after quit (sometimes)

I also have a strange problem with Wolf ET, that happends sometimes. I press “§ + q + tab + enter” to exit Wolf ET. And it usually takes me about 1 second to do this.

However the problem is, that if I look in the task-manager the ET.EXE is still running, even though I have just quit.

Have this happend to anyone else?

just do /quit in console or do it manual way… :slight_smile:

q and tab does the same as writing straight quit, since you press q and tab it will give you /quit.

  1. No. q+tab+enter is the same as /quit. Try it perhaps. same as “recon + tab + enter = /reconnect”.
  2. What has your post to do with ET.EXE still running? :?

He IS using /quit in the console.

Ok I try explain better.

After /quit, Wolf ET isnt visible in the taskbar, so it seems it is closed. And all is fine.

But when looking in the taskamanager it is still running.

Though this doesnt happend every time, but sometimes. Still strange though.

Lol, I understood the thing. I just don’t know why it does it. :stuck_out_tongue: I never noticed it running (didn’t check it After playing…), but now I checked, but it wasn’t running anymore.

Might be another issue, but sometimes windows disappear from the taskbar, even if i know they are there. Though when I Alt+Tab through the programms they are still there and when such windows get focus this way, they also appears again in the taskbar. I always suspected this is related to the ToggleDesktop command (which minimizes all windows resp. does show them again).

I get this with ET:QW , no matter how i close the game, it will still be running in the task manager
