W:ET constantly crashing?

It is very strange. My computer is clean, checked several times for viruses with many different scanners. I know it’s not a specification problem, I can handle the True Combat Elite mod with relative ease on this computer. I have the right ET EXE.
Please help?

Please expand on the nature of the crash and people will be able to better assist you. Most likely the crashes you are experience have been dealt with by other people. So, please tell us where and when you get the crashes. Be as detailed as possible.

Also, you could trying searching the forum or google for an answer.

Already googled it.
Anyway, the crashes will happen anywhere, anytime. Usually in about 10 minutes after I join a server. My computer never did this to me a year ago, I have tried reinstalling it and nothing happened. I took out all of the mods in \jaymod, \etmain, \etpub and \etpro… I can’t explain it anymore because I don’t know about the problem. A total conversion will not crash. However, if I play ET itself(with no mod or etpro,etpub,jaymod, etc) it will crash.

Are you absolutely sure that you didn’t take a vital piece of file in the ET main folder?

Try playing on a server without punkbuster. If that works, pb is the problem. You might also want to check your system temps because overheating can cause crashes.
