When flying in any aircraft I can’t seem to see any players at a fair distance. All I see is the projectiles from their weapons if they’re firing or the vehicle.
It may not just be when I’m flying but I haven’t noticed it when I’m on foot or in a ground vehicle.
Is there any way to fix this?
P.S I have all graphics options maxed and my comp can handle it easy.
r_visdistmult 1.2 is as good as its going to make it, not sure if this is exact cvar ,use tab complete to get right one.
Aircrafts do have a limited viewing distance over infantry and other vehicles.
I believe this was to balance the game.
(Desecrator for example, can see you at a greater distance, but his shots explode in mid-air at some point in distance. It wouldn’t be fair if the anansi could see it from too far outside the desecrators shooting range, and be able to kill it ;))
Here’s where team communication comes into play - yesterday on Island I was in the Anansi and a teammate called out that there was a sniper on top of the radar dish. I was too far away to see the sniper, but was still able to take him out with rockets.
Moral of the story: Use good communication to work as a team and you have a much better chance of winning.
