Video Rendering

Hey all,

I almost forgot that I was rendering the 16vs16 XtremeJerks.Incorportated Vs The Art of Warefare (xJerk.Inc Vs Taw). I shoutcasted this a while back with Bmxer and finally got a good enough rig with good enough memory to edit and encode this.

It’s an epic 50 minutes of Quake Wars MAYHAM … HAM … HAM…(Monster Truck voice impersonation).

BUT, I have one problem. I have no clue about format to render to, changes and settings to make and it’s resulting in me doing lengthy encodings and amazing huge files. So, can someone please friend me on steam (is98) or xfire (thedonkeydong) and give me a hand?

After I get this I’ll also like anyone who can host certain variations of hosting other then the obvious YouTube etc.

At which point are you stuck?
If you talk about format, you should render and also encode it to avi.
You can also search for me on IRC, #etqw.gather @ Quakenet, if you want to clarify more things…

Avi is a container…

I’d go with x264 (.mp4 container), but that’s just me… tis youtubes friendly as well.

well i am clicking ‘file-render’

then i got to pick ‘save as type’

and then template?

and make any tweaks etc?

i don’t know the name to the correct setting / configuration
