Are you enjoying the new VOIP feature, I know I am ! :slight_smile:

I got fraps working with ETQW last night and recorded a good game, my friend Sc1ence
and I really made a big difference to the team. As GDF, our team smashed those Strogg
on a map where the GDF usually fail ! A bit of talking teamwork goes a long way.

Using VOIP for talking teamwork is our server’s central idea and we are building

is there a chance to record voice AND sync it to a demo?

i havent read anything about it, so i doubt it is already implemented

what the game needs:
player demo: mp3 (or ogg) stream of receiving voip and mp3 of own voip
server demo: mp3 of every player, with one mp3 for every player

so that we have one tarball with every voip in it

as far as I know VOIP is not recorded in a demo
to record VOIP I unmuted my mic so that my own voice was fed back thru my headphones and then recorded live play as I played with fraps

having a third party program to record teamspeak/audio and then synching sees fiddly to me, better to just use fraps if you hardware can handle it
