Very bad graphics in fullscreen

Hello,

When I run ET in fullscreen (modified cfg) the graphics are very very bad, or not what it should be. Its very dark and just looks bad. did i mention its very bad?

If I alter it to window mode, walla its PERFECT- it looks great, also- in fullscreen mode i can take a screenshot (F11 Jpeg screenshot) and it looks perfect when i open it up- it looks exactly the same as the window mode graphics- very clear, visibility great and crisp graphics.

any ideas on what causes this, i’d show you a screenshot but i cant find any method of gettin the crap graphics in a screenshot.

print screen, ingame screenshot, fraps screenshot functions all fail to get a ss of what im seeing.

Worst case scenario- im playin in window mode :slight_smile:

Oh, some specs:
ati 9700 pro
winxp

Could it be driver related?

Turn OFF / ON Temporall FSAA , multisample FSAA , or other enhancements / optimizations …

It sounds like your monitor hates the video mode ET is using for fullscreen. Try picking a different resolution, playing with r_displayRefresh, or both.
