pretty much the same response.

Im surprised that no one brought up the vehicle whore problem…all those people running around a base waiting for vehicles, blowing them up, tking to jump in one, the list goes on. Hopefully the balance is good enough that everyone doesnt sacrifice the game trying to be the mech warrior pilot.

Whats wrong with adding a little bit of sim to the game?

Some people get pretty tired of the same FPS tactics over and over. If the vehicles are added right, and people are good at piloting them and they manage to change the outcome of the game, good for them. I think this game will contain many different elements that each person is good at.

Thinking of it as GDF vs Strogg, I hope both teams are evenly balanced and a particular vehicle isn’t going to make one fraction better than the other. Again the dev have said the each fraction will ve rather unique with unique capabilities.

I see nothing with a kid with a big desk and a joystick ready to wip ass. Come on, if you even ever played Mechwarrior you’d know that the best pilots use mouse/kb anyways =)
Joysticks and ruddar pedals used to put people at a disadvantage many times. MW2 was a great example of that.

what i loved most in et / wolf : coming across a few ppl on foot and coming out alive going 1 v many occasionally. If the fights are all between man vs machine, machine vs machine, and only ever man vs man with a sniper rifle I for one am going to be disappointed.

would suck to spend 10 mins playing to only ever come toe to toe with another shooter once and we both get taken out by the bomb dropped from overhead :stuck_out_tongue:
