Less hate for phantom because even if heā€™s just running around with the katana, at least he once in a while kills someone trying to defuse the C4 or repair the EV. I feel like 99.9999% of Vasiliā€™s I play with NEVER contribute to the objective. Also 99.99999% NEVER throw their motion sensor. So you combine these 2 things and I wouldnā€™t shed a tear if they just removed vasili from pub games completely.

Tis true, but you need to keep in mind. Experienced Vassilis would never approach the objective like disarming the C4 because they are meant to provide cover for teammates, making the enemy team afraid to run towards the team in a wide open area.

Of course, but Iā€™ve seen lots Vassilis sniping around, not even checking objective, and there objective specialists go to defuse a C4, get killed but there is only tiny bit of c4 defuse leftā€¦ Whole team dies, and everyone can see that Vassili sniping around instead of going there and defusing that C4 which was 95% defusedā€¦ Team loseā€¦ That same situation is happening over and over again.

I know you are speaking about experienced Vassilis, but not in all situation should Vassili provide back up for his teamā€¦ especially when there is no teamā€¦

Iā€™m not that great with Vassili, but Iā€™m not horrible either. Iā€™ve never had someone try to vote kick me for using him and recall maybe one complaint towards me from some noobish player about me using him.

The problem is when people pick Vassili and then try to defend their spawn while they should be attacking. You need to push up so that you are holding the enemy back far enough for your team to advance.

Alsoā€¦ Detectors are great, USE THEM PEOPLE!

On the flip side, I often hate when my team uses Vassili because they do the opposite of what I just wrote.

Oh my god, yes. Same thing when attacking. No LOS on C4, team is getting wiped while defending the plant, thereā€™s ~10 seconds on C4. Relocate, maybe even switch to machine pistol, and try to kill the engineer that starts to disarm? Nope, gonna stay scoped in waiting for someone to wander into the crosshair.

snipers in pub matches are pretty easy to be honestā€¦ just donā€™t be that dumb ass who rushes into the line of sightā€¦ kinda like the CS:GO sniping get a tiny window you maximize your able to head shot. or in the all might words of the pros "get good scrub "

I will go poor VASSILI for another reason. I have been grinding him lately and everyone QQā€™s when I kill them. Getting 60 to 80 kills in a SW round I can imagine is very frustrating for the other team and then the crying of haxer startsā€¦ Never failsā€¦ If you have a good round with a vassili you will be called a haxer haha!

Another thing for SD and Nexon to look at is game and server performance. I can always tell when a server is wonky when I play Vassili.
