Useful Trinket Proposal + New Case Idea!

Now that is just silly, they are weapons, learn to deal with them or continuously suck, your choice.

And you’re going to learn to deal with not having aids on the screen. It’s only fair. I bet there are more players quitting because of overpowered shotguns rather than quitting because theres no confetti.

Its not aides, its called fun, something you aren’t familiar with, Im sure. And SD will certainly consider this client side. Stop being dumb, and think about it. It would be aides if it was global, but an effect client side would be entertaining.
I honestly cannot understand why you’d think SD would alter the entire atmosphere of their game just to satisfy some furries who want confetti and explosions on their screen, global or not. It makes zero sense.

Because the game is now a colorful funfest already. They stopped the pure root shit with the Containment War event, and ever since its been colorful nonsensical skins and trinkets. You are just a curmudgeon
^ If you dont want that on killing sprees for a trinket, there is no hope for you
Stop being Daft, its SD, we already have explosions galore
Everyone I mentioned earlier wasnt a furry, stop making stupid assumptions.

DB never has been serious though. Just look at the merc lines and cheesy sweater outfits. Stop being salty over an effect that you wouldn’t even see if you didn’t want to.
“I don’t like it” is not a valid reason as to why it shouldn’t be added.
Dirty Bomb in 2018
In what idiot world would anyone want their screen cluttered with this sh*t? This is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. I can’t take anything you say seriously after this, regardless of the fact that I wasn’t taking you seriously anyway.

People like Melinder are the reason this game won;t get off the ground, cause they aren’t willing to do things to appeal to more players even if they dont have to deal with it. Instead they would rather throw a hissy fit cause “They dont like ittttt”. I don’t like snipers, but im grown up enough to deal with it.
You have no idea how much i’ve done for the greater good of Dirty Bomb, which is why I am so critical about you wanting to make this game a laughing stock. If you wan’t to push your cartoony bullsh*t, then go push it somewhere else, and stop trying to change the game to your liking. You have your 20 friends cheering you on, and I have a couple of hundred people laughing at your idea. This is an opinion piece after all, you don’t speak on behalf of the entire community.
I like the general idea here, though I’m not sure how well the numbers would balance out in game over time. But this is certainly an interesting direction to take things, and would add some variety to the game.
I’ve talked about SD doing something similar before, especially with the trinkets that you have to pay real money for, but either way the basic idea here is a really appealing one.

Of course they don’t speak for everyone, that’s why it was posted here, as a suggestion. But you shouldn’t pretend that you speak for everyone either.

All you are is an egotistical cunt, take your narcisim elsewhere or be a constructive, helpful, polite individual. If you cant, get the fuck outta my post

I’ve talked about SD doing something similar before, especially with the trinkets that you have to pay real money for, but Not this exact implementation. It would definitely need to be closely monitored, but I don’t see anything wrong with adding more special effects, and fun gameplay elements for those who would want them.
Make them client side only, and make them toggle and I could get behind the in game effects.
As for the actual credit boosts, etc. the numbers I feel are too high here, but maybe bring it down to 5-10%, and make all new trinkets available for credits in the store, and give all old trinkets the same stat boost, but with special kill feed icons/effects. Something like a 5% bonus to all credits earned, and 5% bonus to ranked points earned

very polite!
I feel like this is getting a bit out of hand.
Feel free to continue discussing this topic as long as you don’t go overboard aggressive.
By the way, reactions are not here to abuse them as a revenge tool.
Thanks!

+1 for the Shadow Warrior reference.
IDK if I would like it in DB though. However, if I can 100% disable it, why not?
That sounds great. But how will the effects work?
Will they all be passive and as long as I own the trinket I’ll get the effects?
Or do the special effects (like snowman explosion) apply only if I have the trinket equipped while other stuff (like increased case drop chance) are enabled as long as I own the trinket.
Or does only the trinket I have currently equipped effects apply to me?
We could also have some trinkets you earn by getting achievements (and obviously adding new achievs for that). Some of the harder achievs should have a trinket reward for completing them.
But they will have to add the achievements to the game itself and make them server sided so you can’t use achievement generators to cheat them.

Equip trinket to have the boost, but im thinking there will be slots to add a boost to a trinket, certain trinkets have certain effects though, like snowman
