I have an ATI Radeon 64 meg video card, don’t know which chipset, version, etc. Any way to find out? I tried running “DXDIAG” which gives some info, but not full descriotions of hardware. The ATI website only list driver updates for 128 meg cards. My driver is listed as 2001. I’ve been trying to run the Call of Duty SP Demo, keeps crashing, figured it might be a driver problem.
Updating Video Drivers
Goto Control Panel, then Display then click the Settings tab, then the Advanced button, then the Adapter tab…phew
at least that works for me…
and you have been here - I presume you have?
http://www.ati.com/support/driver.html
Wrong place for COD support by the way
but checking video drivers is always a good thing to do if you have problems running games for the first time.
Thanks Puds, still only info I get is “ATI- Tech Enhanced” Software version 4.0. Doesn’t tell me much.
Go on your Desktop on a free place…rightclick…klick “Attitudes” (?) in german it’s called “Eigenschaften”…and there is a register where you can read wich 3d-card you have installed!
(it’s the place where you can change settings for your desktop)
The actually ATI Driver Catalyst 3.9 is for all RADEON-Cards!
You can download here… Catalyst 3.9 + Control Panels (25 MB)
ATTENTION: Befor you install the new driver…deinstall the old driver from your system and restart your pc with the windows-grafic-standart-settings!
Good Luck…
