Nice, nice… But put rather something else in the headline than “Quake wars nl”, that seems to restrictive… It’s a .eu after all!
Oh, and news in other languages (french and german maybe?) would even more ratify the choice of the .eu domain.

Not bad, you optimised the images abit too much 
The titles for the blocks are too far down. Other than that it seems like it’s going to be the main site to get all your Quake Wars stuff when we need it.

RosOne, you are right, credits where fallen off when we did a little reediting, will fix it right away.

Popcorn… i bet you are using FireFox…somehow the CSS does not do what i want in that browser…i am working on it.

Nice site. I have a few suggestions:
-
The title graphic is really big. I would crop or resize it so it easily is recognizable, but at the same time doesnt scream ‘look at me’. People are more interested in your news than your title graphic, so it makes sense that 30-40% of the screen should not be devoted to that.

The layout is a bit scrunched together after the title grahic. Instead of just 2 lines seperating news items on top and bottom, these need some space on the sides where they sit near other screen elements like the login box.

Rework your left hand side menu. I would remove the login box entirely, and add a thing like here, where up in the top you can login. Then you have (for example) a “Quake Wars” heading with only 2 items, and below that other headings with things that could be placed under “Quake Wars”.
Also, I would bet people want news, then media, then forums possibly from a games website. Placing the media links near the top might not be a bad idea.
Since Im bored, I’m thinking something like this :
“Home” is removed from the main menu, since its common to click on the site banner to return home on any website (you should add this).

Nice new menu… mmmmmm transparency. This may help with your CSS troubles www.w3schools.com/css
EDIT: i just done a quick optimisation test and it shows that your main page is 912026bytes which is far to big considering you have very little content on it. On a 56k connection its going to take 3 minutes to load your page.

Hmm, yes i know my background and banner are somewhat on the large side, but guys with 56K6 modems are not my target audience
But thanks for the links, i’ll try to optimize it…and fixing CSS to W3C is not my hobby but it’s on “the list”.

Fab, when running CSS validator again for my site i also ran yours…you have also some “work” to do on the CSS
Ps, thx again for the tip, i had my background as a GIF, making it a JPG reduced it from over 150K to 32K 
Banner will be reduced…sometime in the near futere…but only when QW is not released yet. because i have to play then!
