people keep saying all they said was planned for june to try and defend them… it doesn’t matter it doesnt change that many people are still pee’d off that they dont already have the dlc have been waiting for and want to ‘want’ to play the game they payed full price for.

People are annoyed coz SD talked so much before the game came out about how good it was they wouldnt shut their mouth’s, and now they arent speaking to their customers atall or saying anythin apart from letting them no the dlc is delayd [and right at the end of the month when it was ‘planned’]. ovcourse people are goingto be pee’d off…The comnpany who wouldn’t shut their mouths to them about how good their game was before release is now saying F all to them like they mean nothing after paying full price for their game with problems

people you are talking about should probably just read AND understand the news.

The content is currently in submission at Microsoft and Sony, and we expect it to release in early July

see the word “expect”. that means there is no definite date. there is also stated “early july”. we have early july now. there will be early july till the 15th of july, when we have mid july.

so, what do you want? do you want splash damage repeat what they already announced?

“Get a perspective”? People have one; the majority say that the game isn’t fu. Anymore now the novelty has worn off. I dont care how many maps there are or how many skills or how many silly hats or how many bikers there are in the game…it bores me after 4 rank 5’s.

This is SD doing something to possibly pull their game back to a somewhat populated state, wise the title says it all: its on the brink of complete death.

Who cares if they’re pee’d off - who the **** are they? Nobody owes them ****. You mention about wanting to play the game they paid full price for - They can play it all they want. You just said they paid full price for it. They own it - go play it if you want to play it. It’s not like they paid for the DLC and the SD was like, “it will be available shortly” and then never came.

Not everyone is kicking and screaming over the DLC being delayed and the lack of info from SD and Bethesda, me included. Some of us are actually mature and conduct ourselves like adults.

Its doesn’t matter, expected, planned, whatever people want it and have been waiting for it and just want to be atleast spoken to by any member of staff that THEY pay, about anything, just a few seconds out their day, they seemed to have hours before the game released, but now sweet 0… people dont thnink SD have repect for them, then they arent goingto get respect or patience back are they

Who are they? lol the people that bought their game… the people that are the reason for their jobs… duh the least you could do is speak to them like you did a tonne before the game released.

Ovcourse they can play all they want. I said about them ‘wanting’ to play the game. And not many people ‘want’ to play the game at the moment, hence the low and rapidly decreasing player base. People are waiting for the DLC to make them ‘want’ to play the game. lol you are dumb

it was planned for june. it is expected early july. it is already handed to sony and microsoft. that means that we all have to wait for them. even splash damage has to wait for response from sony and microsoft.

I never said anything about everyone shaking their fists if you read my post, I simply said most people who bought the game dont want to play it and obviously want to ‘want’ to play it, and I can understand why people do considering the circumstances regarding the way they are being treated by SD/Bethesda [lots and lots of talk before the game was out, now sweet zilch, they are the reason SD have a job, speak to them, they want you to, nearly all AAA title companies post on their forums…specially the first 2 months they are out apart from badman last month there hasnt been anything atall…]

Its incredibly cheap, here in the UK anyway
There tonnes of not just second hand copies, but new copies in the shops, they just want to get rid of them.
My firend works in one, and he said hes never seen as many copies of a game in the shop as Brink lol.
He also said he has never seen a game so rapidly traded in, 100’s in the first week just in his small store. And hardly any new or old bought XD

The perspective here is that after 2 months 90% of players quit the game. Too many issues, some of them really simple to adress (i.e. spawn time). The DLC is just the l’asta hope for players that still believe in brink.Dont blame them, the frustration is justified in my opinion.

right! Bethesda released the game with too much issues.
The DLC will probably resurrect the game’s player basis but not for long.

if we are very optimistic maybe for 2 months? Probably just for one month.

Depending on the period of time then needed to release the second DLC, lets say more than two months, they then should release the SDK including linux dedicated server.

The game actually has so much potential. The radio voices are cool and may become cultic like these in ETQW and W:ET before, the story of the game is cool too and fits into the “post-apocalyptic” universe together with the upcoming “Rage”. Like the movies Waterworld and Mad Max.

Just don’t screw it up again and listen this time to the community SD&Bethesda!
