Oh man, the new UDK looks to be more robust aka powerful and SIMPLIFIED!! Would love to play around with the Development kit.

Apparently was running on a single GPU as well. Doesn’t mean it wasn’t a £500/$800 GPU, but at least it was just one.

So sad story that most of the game developers don’t use OpenGL.

Well, it the Microsoft fault, for giving the money for them, so they could use Direct3D and also for making OpenGL slow in Win OS.

As you can see OpenGL is pretty powerful, and actually it has same features what were included into DX11 ( developers were amazed of them ), they were already in OpenGL for like 2 years.

Also, OpenGL is cross-platform, well it is harder to use than DX, but it is stronger, faster ( well, if we take GPU multithreading, then OpenGL loses by a millisecond )… but it is just one thing :eek:

The UDK always has been incredibly easy to work with. The in-game compiling is magic though.
