Unranked XP/Experience Save possible??

I’ve seen a few unranked servers out there new that offer no XP reset between campaigns…

Does anybody know how this is done?

We have a dedicated LAN server at work and I’d love to setup our server not to reset XP.

Any ides??

in server.cfg add this
set g_xpSave “1”

Thanks, but I have that is already set…
I believe that setting saves the XP in one campaign but, not accross campaigns…

hm you mean xp save for ever? then i dunno :frowning: maybe you can try to asklulu clan, they are running 24h xp save server

Pretty sure that sets it so if you leave and come back within a certain amount of time (we’re talking minutes not days) your XP isn’t lost. This is so that if you lose connection and come back your progress isn’t lost.

its long time i was moderating servers, but that command (xp save) in ranked servers made that player who disconnected during match, and reconnected later, joined match with previous gained score. for example from the first map he got 100 xp, then he quit etqw and later he joined same server but last map 5 mins before end… and he joined with that 100xp

but he need command how to save xp for ever. i was searching google for that command but without success.

Hi Talon,
if you can’t make a mod for XPsave (like me :p)
You just have to make a looooong campaign.
Our 24h XPsave Server resets XPs only because it restarts daily.
Make a 255 map campaign. This one will last for a lot of days :slight_smile:
If you don’t know how. I can send you our .cfg but take care it’s with speeeeed ups :slight_smile:

I’d realy appreciate the .cfg file… speed ups and alll. :smiley:

I just want to use in on our local work LAN behind our firewall.
I can leave the server running as long as I want…

The buffalobadass guys have a mod but they refuse to share. . :frowning:
