Unofficial SD ET IRC

I reckon it is a good idea to have an SD ET server IRC channel seeing as there is such a cool community atmosphere going on in there at the moment…so here’s a start.

Just d/l irc if you don’t have it and join this channel:

Would be cool to see some of you guys on there.

I made an educated guess and found the channel - it’s on Quakenet.

If anyone hasn’t used IRC before, I’d recommend downloading mIRC (if you use Windows - there are clients for Linux too) and connecting to the server irc.quakenet.org, then typing “/join #splashet” (if someone wants, I’ll dig up a guide on how to use mIRC).

Was an idea for people who only go on the SD ET server to talk.

Well I guess people will vote with their feet. I just had a look at the #splashdamage channel and it seems there are loads of peeps there that i would have loved to see in the #splashet forum.

Unless people post about wanting #splashet to continue then i guess #splashdamage is the place to be!

(BTW I didn’t know about #splashdamage until you told me in this thread Salteh! D’oh!)
