I think the whole ranked system killed the game, doesnt really work in bf and didnt work in ETQW hence why they sacked it off.

not to impressing tbh. F.oping/Oppressing is easy on pub. Get that with a sniper (with more acc ofc) and i’ll be impressed

that sure didnt help, but the peeps i game with (clan/friends list) over a hundred in all… am the only one left… LAG turned them off the game… seeing peeps constantly ghost into the ground, walls, and stairs while shooting them, gets really old for some…

No new maps really wasnt the issue for me, yeah it gets old… but if the game play is smooth and lag free, new maps dont really factor in… hell, i played W:ET first 6 maps for YEARS and loved it… NO LAG… :slight_smile:

I plan on still playing both as long as there are servers available. I still play some old school games online with friends.

Also, not everybody will be buying or playing Brink immediately, so it’s not like every other game is just going to be completely void of players.

download this autoexec.cfg and the game will run fine looking like this on a AMD barton 2500+

exactly. without bot im a noob. maybe later i can teach noobs how to be good and PRO player. but not now, im just causal player. i play for fun. year 2007 - 2008 is over. no more 100+ kills LOL

i dont give a f. about stats or k/d ratio or xp. Sniping? yes, shooting from distance is always funny.

im happy im impressing my GF every night.

yeah,i play for kills only. You not?
sometimes im not firing a single bullet, using only knife for whole campaign. fun is most important.

brink has failed on the consoles, SD have nothing much todo for a few months while the hype and showcasing comes to a close…

QW`s needs a map pack, all custom maps are kind of poor and only worth playing a few times

can fill a dvd with 15 maps

I think something along the lines of “MOAR MAPZ!11!” has been discussed many times, on the old forums and here. Usually ending in “Customs only way” with the response being “Their not official, so i can’t get stats on them. i won’t play them.” Sad thing really :confused:
