ubuntu mkdir failed

I tried to reinstall the game but when i try the installer it says mkdir failed…

yes… i installed 3 days ago and it was fine…

If you install the game under Ubuntu, you should open up a terminal and use sudo so you can create directories. I don’t iknow if you can read German, but Chance gave a link to a good description of how to install ET:QW under Ubuntu. If you can’t read German, do a google for Quake Wars, Ubuntu and install. You’ll find plenty of articles and posts.

Well, it prob means you don’t have permission. Where are you installing etqw to? Unless it’s home dir, you need to sudo.

or chmod the installer and the install dir.
