7urko doesnt cheat btw, not in etqw anyway, he plays top level in matchs where you have to send your demos off after to get checked for hacking after, and has had no issues.

Also i have only ever seen 2 hackers on etqw, and they were both very obvious (they both had the website you could buy them off in their name). Dress to kill was awefull when i played him and was very easy to kill so im suspecting that the list you made is just a random collection of names you think “probably” hack lol.

People are so quick to call hacks, im currently screenprinting every time i get an accusation and its ridiculous, i have been screening for 2 weeks and i now have over 50 screen prints. The community for some reason is hack crazy and just accuse every other player that kills them, its getting stupid

Like Proteas showed, there are definitely people that use hacks in this game. It’s not as common as players will make you believe though. Most hackusations are based on dubious logic (omg! he killed me 10 times in a row, he must be cheating!) and a poor understanding of what it means to play a game like this on-line. What you see on your screen is not necessarily what really happened on the server.

Guess it’s human nature, for some it’s difficult to accept that there are others that are clearly better then them.

For the record: I’m not good enough to get accused of hacking and there are plenty of players that will kick my butt almost every time I encounter them. I accept that as a reality of life.

what can we see on these lists? are they hackers? no. they were banned. how long you can play with hack? maybe 30seconds? maybe 1 minute to be banned? they are no longer threat. and never were.

real hacker is player who will be never detected, and never banned. one of their tactics is to play leagues and so on, to cover hack with experiences they “gathered” during leagues, or clan results. at least for etqw community this trick is working.

the name list is correct and its not ingame nick, its customer nick.

i was server admin for looong time, and now i run other servers so i should know everything at all cost.
even infiltrating into “hackers base” , pretending im their friend or whatever to get as much info as i can get.

i know that programmers of hacks working for both sides. they will create hack, then a pb or other anticheat solution is upgraded and so on. banned hacker must buy new copy of game again, and sure, he will order hack too.game developer is happy because his game is finally “hack free” and his $ investition into antihack company was good decision.
then antihack company can ask for more funds to work “harder”.
why bans are not hardware bans? why suspected haxor can buy new copy of game and play again?

i think this is great income for both sides. at least when game is popular.

me personaly, i dont care if somebody is hacker. i dont care if somebody is coding hacks. all what i care is to forbid them to play on my servers. thats all.

Mcnite is to blame here, the guy got 2. whatever kdr just by abusing his server like ace, he got no aim and ban whoever he can, even some of his clan member told me he was a douche, LOL.

Moosea is a OK person so dont attack if she/he/it defends her clan, at least she have bawlz to show here…

Coming from anthy I must admit its a freaking troll, as usual, but he’s right cuz you banned him for a “noob server” comment? I rage quit everyday on qw cuz of the mass of noodles in this game lately, stack, etc… if you cant manage a good server, just rent a privat one and stat pad all day long we wont care…

Wow this thread won’t die. For the record I enjoy killing ubc zman whenever i see him, his cries of NO are the fuel which drives me and my crappy play. So I have done my part to rid the game of the scourge of ubc or some such nonsense… Oh and Dr Funkenstein totally hax ;’} fuel meet fire, now i need beer and sleep…
