I can barely read your post. You should try using proper sentances, throw in some punctuation; better writing makes for better reading. Now from what I understand you are unable to find RTCW:ET?

To answer your question, if i read it correctly, Return To Castle Wolfenstein is not free, but Enemy Terriory is. And ET does not require original RTCW to work.

Is it just me or are people here gettin a bit offensive lately It must be something to do with tension build up as they eagerly await the release of QW I have noticed that silleh posts are now very quick to get flamed One might say even quicker than normal Has the whole forum gone completely mad as QW nears its release or am I just imaginiing things ?..?

i think its because there seems to be a big dip in the number of quality mapping/modding posts as the quake3 engine dries up and this has left many regualr posters with too little to post about. As a result they are venting there excess posting energy flaming threads by foolish or amateurish users

i must confess my frustration that when a joined this forum it was a wealth of mapping knowledge and discussion. Now all that seems to happen is a group of users poring over various and interviews to try and extract that same information written in a slightly different way. Every time a screen shot is released it sort of like throwing another piece of meat to the wolves. Hopefully QW will be released soon and we can start a new eara of mapping and modding

I think you’re on to something here. I have no idea how you came up to your conclusion though. Perhaps people post things with no grammar to incite a flame war. Its definitely not a translation problem, because modern day translators do the grammar for you. I’m assuming that posts with broken English are intended to start an argument with well-educated people, and the uneducated people just find it funny in a childish sort of way.

Either way, if this is an honest mistake in grammar, I see no “flame” in pointing out with a good reason that I cannot understand the post. I also provided an answer with the best of my ability, unlike a few other posters in this thread.

No one cares if you can’t spell but if we can’t understand your post, your grammar will be criticised. Using bad English is a dead giveaway that you are uneducated and typically your opinions will become riddled by stupidity.

I hate to quote myself, but since you might not have read what I wrote, I thought I would bring it back up. No one cares about crappy spelling, its whether or not we can understand you that’s important. You will find it exponentially easier to get answers when you can properly communicate your questions. English is one of those transferable skills too, it might help you get a better job if you use it properly.

Its not something to ignore, even if you are a math whiz. You of all people should understand the importance of using punctuation. Could you imagine an equation with only numbers in it? How would that make any sense?
