Two simple questions for SD.

The OP asked two questions

I cited Valve being unable to give an accurate release date despite being regarded as one of the best developers on the PC. In fact don’t they have a phrase coined after them for the inability to meet deadlines? (rhetorical)

What is REALLY going on?

I stated, as have many many others, that SD is under contract with regards to Brink. If you want more information go hassle Bethesda.

Valve being better than SD is a strawman. This was never a point of contention and has ZERO bearing on this topic.

SD’s future plans and commitments are also largely irrelivant unless you want to tie them into 9/11 and fake moon landings. I think even the worst developer would be able to plan to complete DLC/patching and start work on a new project without a look of startled amazement that two obviously planned things would happen at the same time.

IMO people need to stop confusing their need to claw off their pound of virtual flesh with actual facts, as dull and reasonable as they may be.

Valve has a history of delivering. When was the last time you’e seen a flop from Valve ? SD has a history of releasing flawed games, thus needs to explain itself. It’s normal not to treat the competent and the incompetent the same.

Valve’s biggest fail is the Half Life 2 episodes, they are fine themselves. But the lack of episode 3 is just ridicilious considering the way Episode 2 ended. In that regard they are one ****ing huge fail.

And it would be nice if frigging god damnit knew when at ‘latest’ we can expect the dlc. The communication of SD is so poor. They are a good company but oh god does their communication suck.
