On the server list what does the number in parentheses mean in the Players column? Sometimes I see 7/24 and sometimes I see something like 8/24 (8). What does this represent?

Now that the game’s almost out, perhaps it’s time to create a specific QW subsection in the forums?
Seriously. I would have done this like 2 years ago, but it’s yall’s forum. If you like the general section to be all cluttered up with QW threads, so be it.

I’m probably wrong but I believe the number in parentheses is the total number of bots on the server. I only played 1 round of the new demo, and it was last night when I should have been in bed hours before.

Yeah, the number in parenthesis is the number of Bots. There are all manner of server settings allowing you to maintain slot populations by dynamically swapping bots in an out as flesh players join and disconnect, so you can almost certainly join a “full” server if it’s being topped up with AI players. They don’t mind. They’re humble that way.
