I have the impression that there is a couple of guys with twins on this forum. As I have twins myself (10.5 months old) I am a little curious how much time you are able to play ET/RTCW, say per week, and yet manage your work and family duties?

I dont have kids but a girlfriend who isnt keen on long gaming sessions - which is fair enough like.
So i play when she’s at the Gym. I make sure she sees her mates and goes socialising with other people (workmates etc) and try and plan my gaming around those times. When we are just chillin id have a quick blast, no more than an hour and id only usually do it whan a mate has came on.
About once a week i will have a dedicated night with friends at mine or theirs and thats my equilavent of her seeing her mates.
Rest ( majority) of the time is for her, and fuk work like who cares.
Ive also made more time for ET by disposing of my PS2, GC etc to my brother! :eek:

My twin girls are 10 weeks old and considering my job usually entails looking at a monitor (at home) doing nothing apart from downloading and watching movies or playing ET until something goes wrong on the network (in work to which I am remotley connected), things aren’t usually too bad so I can get a few hours ET every day (bar any catastrophic hiccups at work like a printer running out of toner or some stupid bastard forgetting their password or not knowing where they saved a file).
It does help the fact that my teacher missus (hence a fascist bastard like all teachers, although she does HATE teachers herself) is on maternity leave and does A LOT of the looking after (although Siobhan is in my arms NOW screaming her head off). Ah now I’ve stuck a bottle in her gob she’s quiet.
I am also soon to lose this computer room as wife says the kids will be taken from us if I put them under the stairs or make them sleep in the shed at the bottom of the garden :???: .

I usually sit down every other night for 1.5 hours so I at least can finish a campaign. More than that would be difficult since the kids go to sleep at 21.00 and I really need to be in bed by 00.00.
Since my boys don’t like sitting still right now (to say the least) the one-handed config doesnt help much. I would need a config where you could play without watching the screen or something.

I sit at the computer with one of my boys in my arms all the time. The one-handed config has actually worked out really well in allow me to feed the lad with one hand and play ET with the other.

Ifurita scares me.
But top stuff! Imagine how l337 he’d be if he had both hands free…My advice is play him now, before his twins learn to walk and feed themselves.
