Frankly…just as much as xp hoes…what really bugs me no end in GoldRush is the stupid allied engineers running around with Thompsons after the bank doors are blown.
And the general IQ of the team that doesnt even understand why im bitching about it.
:moo: *goes back to eating lunch :moo:
SMG soldiers are better.

Well done you.
Shooting people cus you dont like the weapon they are using is a new low in ET communictation skills and teamwork.
I bet all them people who go round shooting fieldops as a way of demanding ammo are dead jealous.
ghost, maybe instead of wasting your time screaming at him, you could have just told him how to do it. That would have taken two lines at max, vs. your 6 lines of utter crap.
Calling him a n00b is an extra addition too, great way to help out your teammates…
Too bad he didn’t go panzer or fld ops, I’m sure he would have helped out your team alot more by airstriking spawn exit and blasting teammates with the boomstick…
if you have a couple of guys in there planting, the tank can be really useful just for cover fire. At least, thats how i see it. at all other times its useless keeping it built tho as you say.
I keep the tank built because it’s has the most powerful gun in the game sitting on top and it’s looking nicely down into the Fuel Dump. It provides effective cover fire to any troops lurking around the West side of the Depot. Granted it attracts arty fire, but laying down heavy covering fire can be more than helpful when it comes to getting to the West defenses. The idea is to win, not deprive the opposition of XP.
I’m totally against repairing the tank as it draws arty and often times I’ll try to run over the broken wall and by the back to get to the fence but having a teammate constantly repairing the tank makes it impossible since they’re constantly bombarding the area you have to go through.
Think about it. You don’t have very far to go from broken wall to fence and with a bit of luck or good teammates, you can get there, blow the fence w/ satchel then plant dyno. No more than 15-20 secs is needed. As to “Will the dyno be defused?” that’s another story altogether.

There’s one major drawback for the tank MG at this position: If u shoot from it, u can be killed from relative safety from at least 20 places all over the axis base.
the tank is alright, but like pretty much all mg guns you are better off using it to ambush people. Stay behind it, use your lean, and jump up on it and murder people when they come out in the open, then get off it quick before you get gunned down.
But really, unless there is already dyno planted at the dump, you should running yourself into the dump rather than mucking about with it.
I think that when ET-Player takes the time to write his posts in perfect English, and provides such high quality and funny GIF’s and JPG’s, he can feel free to make fun of someone when their English is clearly taken from Babel fish or something similar…

Gentlemen, I think I see our problem…
You get 10 XP or 7.5 XP for destroying/repairing a tank/truck, depending on the map. On fueldump the XP is reduced to 3 after the tank reached its final position.
