I found a “wicked” place to plant the dynamite when you want to blow up the old city waterpump. Have a look at my 4MB clip if you are interested.

finished, thats really a nasty place to plant and 99% defuse-save, good find :clap:

(although I’d rather see a fix for this and a smaller destructable box of the water pump)

Destructable area isn’t actually a box. They way it works, it’s impossible to avoid trick plants like this on contructables. It can, however, be avoided on non contructables, like the oasis city wall. You have to plant close to that. It’s explained in this thread.

Aye, good picture, nedgam and weasel is right. I have done this with 2 people.

My question is how the hell they do it in the movie ETmoves? They are doing it at the other tower with only 2 people. I wonder how the engineer got up on his mate’s head.

I afraid that my english isn’t enough to explain this one, so I’ve come up with a picture showing how to do this:

So here you can see that the edge isn’t limited to the area of the AA-Gun-tower and that you can get both players on it. Then the engi jumps on the other player and both crouch and start moving towards the AA-Gun area untill the engi is able to throw the dynamite.[/img]

You can have both people crawl side by side and jump up on the other person at the end, but it takes some freakishly hard jumping to get out from under the ridge and land on the person.

What I normally do its get a second person to stand by the edge, getting me out from the wall so I can jump onthe other.
You really aren’t making it a 3 person stack, so I think it still would count as TWL legal, but I dunno.

I found a nice way to take out the first barrier on goldrush. Trouble with it is, you only get one shot at it. Video here [2.8MB, DivX5] Excuse the shitty quality, I just didn’t want an 8MB video. I imagine this trick would also work on the second barrier.

isnt 2 player stacks ok in TWL, but not 3? so the 2 player plant would be legal.

I tried this today.

It doesn’t work as well as it looks to be in the video. :frowning:

One: It’s almost IMPOSSIBLE to get that darn dynamite IN the window.
Two: ONCE you get the dynamite in the window (wasting 2 charge bars and your whole team saying WTF are you doing), it doesn’t work, because the dynamite needs to be planted at the FAR side of the window

Any hints to make this work better for me? :banghead:

Getting 3 guys stacked up like that without an axis team member running around the corner and mowing them down before they got set up would be a feat in itself.
