There was a problem with our host’s server which forced us to have to move to a new server, however the forum didn’t move so gracefully and we’re getting all types of cache errors, etc that we can’t seem to resolve.

Ubb’s suggestion is to install a working copy of the forum on the same server and then copy over the data files, but unfortunately we don’t have the installation files for ubb.classic 6.3.0 (if anyone has them let us know)

So I’m currently trying to purchase that version from Ubb, but they are telling me I can’t. They say we can download the version if we have a valid license, but we don’t have that information since we didn’t originally install it.

** Does that make sense? We can download it if we have a license, but we can’t purchase a license to download it? **

At the same time I’m trying to mess with a ubb.classic 6.x -> phpBB 3.x converter to pop the posts into this badboy. We want to move to a php/mysql forum anyway. From phpBB we could then convert to other forum types if we wanted or at least that’s my understanding.

PS - All the forum data is still intact on the old server and in a .tar file backed up.

This is mostly a mapping site for RTCW. (Return to Castle Wolfenstein)

Just giving the heads up to who ever is also registered at those forums.
