Just curious, who is using the trade in system and for what rarity? For bronze cards the trade-in system is almost like trying to get a silver card.

I’m not 100% positive, but it’s pretty much for cobalts or golds. Any “high value” cards that would take more to trade up to or ones that you can’t trade up (cobalt)

Used it once for a cobalt trade in, post update. Anything under cobalt is a waste, would be better to save for the next trade up.

I have 2 trash Cobalts from elite cases that will get traded in as soon as I have the ridiculous amout of credits required.

I had 3 useless Gold Auras with shotguns and because I don’t like either of Cobalt skins, I traded-up for the first time. My Bamboo BL81 got an upgrade in forms of a Crown BL41.
Trade-Ins are cool, mainly because I dislike Cobalt and have no real urge to have any Cobalt.

So it seems like most of you are not really using the trade in system. The amount of credits required is a lot for what its worth in my opinion. A few of you are saying you are waiting for the next update. I haven’t heard any news on an update, has anyone else?

It was already updated, but to my knowledge it was only the cobalt tier that got a price reduction. Honestly, if you trade-in for bronze, it’s pretty poor value when you can trade up just a little more and get a silver. Only trade-in for cobalt imo :slight_smile:

After many unsuccessful Trade-Ups from Silver into Gold, I decided to take another shot at Trading-In some Golds this weekend as I had about 9 Golds from Trade-Ups I didn’t want. I’d only done it once before and ended up getting the same Gold as one of them I traded in.

This weekend I got much luckier with two Trade-Ins, getting the skins and loadouts I wanted.

I traded up to 8 different Gold Phoenix’s that were either Bamboo or Crown before I got this Swiss skin. I only had one of those be a loadout I liked, but didn’t use it because I had the better looking Silver of that loadout.

I was shocked actually getting something good from the RNG machine twice yesterday.

It’s not worth it for anything not Cobalt. The trade in system should require less cards and also guarantee you won’t get one of the load outs you traded in, even as a different skin.

Yeah I saw that. I’d rather just have all bronze loadouts though. The amount of credits required to upgrade to silver would take me forever to get and I’m lvl 22. It would be nice if the trade-in for bronze was actually worth it. The chance of getting a random card makes it almost better to just buy the loadout you would like instead of the 1/9 chance of getting the loadout you want in a nicer skin.

I guess they want to make it hard to get higher rarity cards so people will just buy cases instead, which is how they make some money. Based on that statement, I’m fine with the system they have now. In Nexon’s last game, Combat Arms, they made better guns cost money and it became a pay to win so fast. Turned so many people off.

The only merc I don’t own is Vassili. Honestly I consider spending 24k on Cobalt trade in roulette a better use of credits :slight_smile:

I love vassili, I think the roulette needs to go away or maybe use less credits. 2 cobalt cards and 24k for a random 1/9 chance of getting the card you want isn’t very likely.
