I have used the Trade In once, got the same Cobalt Stoker I already had. Crafted it with the Nader I dont use to get my now Thunder Cobalt MA95 Aggressive Gunner :slight_smile:

Still never used it but, I would and I will, use Trade In, just for Cobalt, but I’m not sure. Too many needed credits right now, I have all the mercs I want but still too many credits, maybe after I’ll have all Gold Swiss I want. To dream is free :blush:

I did spend real money to buy Mercs Bundles and give my support to developers but, there is no way I’ll spend 4, 16 or 27 euro/dollars to random skins, even with 30% off. Not worth, imho of course.

I used trade in once for golds and got exactly the same card i already owned. Now Im thinkinking about next gold trade in cuz i got some useless golds from cases recently. I just wonder why it needs 3 golds to trade in and only 2 cobalts. I would do lots more gold trade ins IF it required 2 golds.

Because people complained about it. And since the mentality of most people is having Cobalts for the sake of having Cobalts since they’re the highest regular rarity, SD changed Cobalts only.

“People complained about it.” When they rolled out the first trade ins, it was awful and completely not worth it. I feel like they knew it was not a great idea to begin but its “beta” so they just wait for feedback to fix it.

Hopefully they fix trade-ins to make the cost more worth it by allowing us to choose a loadout OR by making the trade-in cost lower because there is a 1/9th chance of each loadout and you could potentially get the same card you traded in.

Even if you could narrow down the loadout result to 3 or 4 cards, it would be much more worth the trade-in cost.

I use it to get rid of Gold loadouts I don’t want I’ve gotten through trading up, since I don’t care for Cobalt skins. I’ve had mostly bad luck with it, but two out of the last four attempts have gotten me some very nice loadouts in the skins I wanted.
