i dont know the net_clientpredition console command set or the command to turn off the HUD
if some could tell me what they are and what the different net_clientprediction commands do that would be great

also if anyone has a link to the maps of the levels please post it

This is what I use, it is a toggle that will raise and lower it and report to me in the chat what I changed it to. If you use this in conjunction with your lag-o-meter you can keep lowering your netclientprediction to the optimal level right before the meter turns red.

Usually I am able to play with it stable at 1 or sometimes 0. Word of warning, avoid the lame servers that have rules against changing it. Those are generally the same ones that ban for planing on the North Sewer Grate.

bind “[” “cvarAdd net_clientPrediction 1; addchatline ‘^2clientPrediction:’;addchatline $net_clientPrediction”
bind “]” “cvarAdd net_clientPrediction -1; addchatline ‘^2clientPrediction:’;addchatline $net_clientPrediction”

Type htmlcvars in the console and all the possible settings/cvars that you can change will be written to a html file with a brief explanation of what they do. It will be saved in “My Documents\id Software\Enemy Territory - QUAKE Wars\base” and you can open it in any browser. Very useful.

You can see the maps in the limbo menu of course, but you can get more detailed versions of them (including all the deployable spots!) if you download a program called Gtactix and you can find that right here.

Hope this helps.
