I have created this topic to keep this section of the forums from becoming polluted with various topics of mine.
Now that the beta version of Olivet Castle is on filefront, I will move on.
I plan to do a complete remake of a past project: Hell Mappack. This mappack will have many cooler features compared to the original mappack. The last map, hell_gate, will be entirely removed. A spookier map will take its place. Hell_lab will have lopers and protosoldiers, unlike in the original map.
I believe this will be a cool project. I am willing to put a lot of time into it. Post any suggestions or comments here. :infiltrator:

Thanks man. I have learned a lot since the creation of hell_mappack. This mappack will be much better. I plan to start on it very soon. I will update this thread as the mappack progresses. :flamethrower:
I have begun creation on hell_lab. I need help with getting two doors to slide open, like in the xlabs map from the original game. I’m at the point of working on the lab segment of the map, and I need to know how to get two doors to slide open at the same time.
It is necessary for you for both doors to appropriate a key: ‘team’ with any value

The layout of hell_lab is finished. If you’re wondering, the lab is ment to be small. Don’t forget that this is a mappack. Today, I will start on adding sounds, and clip weaponing the models. :stroggtapir:
I am taking my time. I’m just quick when it comes to making a map.
Update on map: Sounds have been added, leaks are gone. I will start inserting ai entities into the map.

I’ll take a look at the walls in-game. It can be hard to get the walls on a perfect height.

The height of the walls in the crypt area are lower. The height of the walls in the garage and lab aren’t too tall imo.
Update on map: Scripting is finished, .aas files will be next. :oppressor:
