Well well well, I come back onto the forums to see my old topic bashing ETQW even before a demo or any detailed videos.

And I was right, out of pure in your face I swapped my RTCW key for ETQW (yes I got alot of offers, bit of a kick in the ass really considering I said that it would fail, well kick in the ass for the posters of my old topic)

I see that the game has been given crap reviews, and OH DEAR me, do not ever base the engine on Doom 3 ever again please lol.
You do know that Doom 3 engine has lag in the actual engine don’t you? I’m talking about the movement of the cursor.

The game has failed on PC and on all consoles, what a shame… And all was predicted by me, considering that RTCW2 is coming out soon I will respect your company and I love the games you produce. When you release games like this just PLEAAASEEE pay attention to the old school gamers. Also I seen some high skilled and competative clans in which I played with on ETQW, and by god was it a crap experience. I thought it was something “new” but I guess not. I would rather be playing MOHAA, and maybe the original Doom.

Why close topics and delete topics, to cover your own ass to make your publicity good? Anyways, if you like aliens with a bit of delay get ETQW, it’s a really good game.

The bit “aliens ruin the game” remains a m00t point, seeing how a story setting is just one part of a game. Actually, the new “Wolfenstein” game might feature some occult /alien weaponry. I hope that doesn’t put you off.

Now the lag / stuttering, that’s something we didn’t talk about earlier - and ironically, something most of us did not foresee.

Oh, and old-school gamers seem not profitable anymore, at least if you would believe Nintendo.

an 8.4 on average really sucks (Metacritic), although I think iDan can only dream about scoring an 8.4 in real life.
