I know that Brink, being the success it already appears to be has a lot of people coming from different console games, hence the different perspectives.

I am not expecting anyone to acknowledge that PC perspective should be discussed here. If only for the reason that you do not browse this forum with your console, are you?
Still, i can understand that console platforms in this new world of video gamin that is not targeted at hardcore fans anymore arethe main targets of any aspiring publisher.

Nevertheless, pay homage to the spiritual successors. ETQW was on console, and afaik its the only console game comparable to Brink.
Analogies from other games will most likely fall short.

When you say equal amounts of objectives, do you mean like healing people, or activating objectives? Or both? Because lets say the 30/30 guy was running around killing and activating panels, but the 10/3 was going and helping people up. Then the 10/3 guy would have helped more. I may be 100% wrong on what I am saying here, just trying to clear things up.

both, assuming both players helped their team equally with the exception that one person died 10 times more then the other, but also killed 3 times more then the other.

I think if you polled the forums, you’d see PC gamers heavily outnumber console gamers. From what I’ve seen anyways.

I like how Brink handled this from the sound of it.

I always thought of K/D ratio similar to +/- in hockey. Something to look at but dont read too much into it, so many variables to consider.

by posts maybe, and throughout the years. However since announcing that Brink will be released earlier this forum is swarmed by excited console players ; )
