For now I had the chance to test 4 out of 5 maps:
castle_b1.pk3
pirates_b1.pk3
tm_jungle_b1.pk3
tounine_b1.pk3
I really respect all of your work, it’s amazing !
It’s great to see a whole series of new maps and they’re all nicely done (the ones I’ve seen so far).
My feedback:
castle :
One of the biggest maps out of the list.
It has this great Medal of Honour 1 feeling (meant as a compliment ey).
The structures of the buildings are rather “simple” - mostly blocks, but that doesn’t take the feeling away in any way. Besides, when playing, you don’t really pay all too much attention to the structures when the map has a cool feel to it.
Here and there you can still see some caulkwork, but as you said - you’ll deal with that later
Though, I found something hovering near the castle itself (see screenshot) - most likely a missing model

Also, be sure to add some ambient sound to it.
I haven’t played the map online yet, so I can’t provide you other feedback than that, but I’m sure any feedback is welcome
Pirates :
Mapping art at its best.
Great attention to detail and feel (with sound and lighting) .
However, and this is what I noticed in most maps, be sure to specify your objdata more.
It’s often you see: get the documents/gold and secure them
but you don’t know where.
Sure enough, a truck near an objective mostly says enough, but for newcomers it’s pretty crucial.
Only Castle seemed to have the most specific objdata around so far.
tm_Jungle :
Cool map as well !
Reminds me of the early Tomb Raider games (or the ones on playstation).
I like the ‘sunny’ feeling and the way you played with ambient sound.
However, the jungle ambient sound reminds me more of an industry in progress, rather than a jungle ambient
But then again, I’ve never really been in a jungle so …
Also be sure to specify where to deliver the docs
Tounine:
I think this one has the highest ‘competition’ feel to it.
It has pretty much all the things an interesting battle could ask for: escortable tank (not too long, not too short), barrier, docs
and plenty of alternate routes
Should be interesting to try that one out as well online
All in all, great work you guys !
Thanks for giving us another set of awesome maps !!
EDIT:
By the way, is it allowed to host these maps already?
