Tired of getting banned.. can experienced players verify?

I am seriously tired of being kicked/banned from servers by admins who think I am using an aimbot. I have about 4-6 servers on my list that I actually ping well to with many people playing at night. When I get banned from those servers, it forces me to play on slower, laggier servers with relatively few players.

I know it’s a hassle to download/watch a demo, but if some of the more experienced players here can verify that I don’t use bots (for example in the demo recorded below), it will settle the issue for numerous server admins and I’ll be free to catch games whenever I feel like it.

Well, the place I play at: Allied.aci.on.ca (it’s there IP of their gameserver AND web address too). Their admins are great at spotting cheaters, and they know all of that Demo Record tactics to spot them and all.

Either way, I think making a demo of yourself would be more suspecious, because it would make me feel liek you might be trying too hard. I dunno.

Either way, I’d say check out that server I play at if you can, it’s 48 slot in case you were wondering. I enjoy it there a lot, and no I don’t admin there.

It’s not surprising you get accused of cheating on a server where no other player can kill you with an SMG…

I find it hard to believe you can’t find better servers (the one in the demo puts you in the US if I’m not mistaken). If you look for etpro servers instead of shrub you’ll be able to play servers with higher ping without experiencing lag, and the general skill level will probably be higher (not sure you want that though :stuck_out_tongue: ).

(And no, I didn’t see anything that indicated cheating in the few minutes I watched.)

Appreciate the responses guys. Sauron… thank you. I joined some etpro servers and despite having a higher 150+ ping I felt no lag at all. For some reason I had assumed etpro was mainly a competition settings mod… had forgotten they had anti-lag features built in. This is perfect. Will have no problem finding servers to play on.

Apart from packet loss, is there any downside to a person playing with a higher ping on etpro servers? From what I’ve seen so far, etpro’s antilag makes it feel like a low ping connection.

if you liked shrub features, you can try etpub which have antilag similar to etpro

A higher ping will always have disadvantages (for example deaths are not unlagged), but i think 150 ms is playable (even 200 ms if the ping is stable).

You could try out my server josh, its etpub and i think should still have the antilag enabled. But its a fast server, so check it out.
