What would YOU like to see from the expo?:icarus:
Three days and counting
I’m done with scavenging regurgitated bogus interviews for tiny tidbits of information, I am through with it.
And I have to say that the “ooh boy any day you now you’ll be hearing a whoooole lot more from us” nonsense the SD staff has been giving us is pretty disrespectful as well. These are the most interested people you’re talking about. If you keep the lid shut or are under the pressure to keep it shut, then just say that, don’t pretend that there’s actual news in the pipeline when there isn’t.
If Bethesda isn’t interested in revealing how the game will be then all that rests is fantasising about how the game could be which in its turn is running a bit stale as well.
It’s good though, it frees up more energy to be excited about other things.
I would like to see from the expo, some new ingame footage, additonal infos about the classes and skils
Is this to much?
i hope they reveal or show something new at least, anything. 'cause its getting harder and harder to convince ppl to get interested about the game when there isn’t much to show them

LOL dude you think SD is bad, you should have seen the Socom 4 forums in december. Every week the Zipper community managers would post a topic “info coming soon guys!” and then in their next podcast they would blather on about MAG. Those guys deserve to be shot.
I’m not sure much will come from this NDA lift, but very interested to see what comes from PAX

The migraines acting up again?
I would like to see more gameplay ^^ Aswell as more information about the abilties
I don´t mind if they don´t say anything, but they shouldn’t dangle that promise in front of our noses. That´s just misplaced.
as it seems the NDA is a media one, it’ll be interesting to see:
1: how many spell Paul’s name wrong
2: how many get class and bodytype confused
3: how many think it’s a parkour game
4: how many just miss the whole point

So it’s not only me who has been irritated by ‘journalists’ claiming that all lights are operatives and that all heavies are some sort of heavy weapons guy.
Wedgewood
hell no, I imagine you’re in the majority
[edit] reminded me of this gem
it’s reasonable to assume that game journalists do their best to fact-check their work

When you haven’t been privvied to a conflicting source, what else are you going to have to go off of, especially when it’s more than one article saying the same thing?
Are you still butthurt over being called out on your dumb “Tattoos have to be permanent or else they couldn’t be loaded into everyone else’s games” comment?
That may well be the case, but until you hear different from the Dev’s own mouth, you’ve nothing else to go on.
The devs said something was some way. A couple of e-zines later said something different, which you took as having more weight than the dev’s previous comment because the e-zine articles were more recent.
Is that a fair summation? I’m really not sure because I didn’t follow the whole argument (not really fair to call it a debate).
Assuming all that is correct (and this point holds even if I have it wrong, although possibly it’s not relevant to the argument):
The point is that a dev’s comment is going to hold more weight than something from an e-zine, regardless of the timing. From what I’ve seen reading many of these articles many of them exhibit fact checking skills second only to their editing skills in terms of pure sloppiness.
