Thread about blocking RU/UA/BY players.

Hello everyone.
FIrst of all i’d like to say that i wrote 3 letters to people from SD on this forum - Anti, badman and malarky - and havent got any answer yet.

I am a russian player, one of many Russian/Ukraine/Belorussian players from ETQW/ET/BRink/TF2 communities. As you may already know some of us do not like infamous DDestiny’s version and we would like to play Nexon’s version. But we cant’ Our IP’s are blocked. And this is where i just dont understand WHY?

IF the versions all over the world were the same - then i would just shut up alrdy. But the games(Exctraction and dirty bomb.ru) ARE different. And all players from CIS are forced to play DD version only because they live in these countries. You (i mean Splash damage) said the game is shaped my gamers. But in our region we dont shape *****! we dont even play for almost a month!!

And what is with all the ignoring? This ignoring realy saddens me.
I just ask a simple question. And i hope for a honest answer.

How can we play Extraction?
Mb we need to right to Nexon, but i dont know whom i must address this question. But You know it, SD. Can you at least tell me whom can i write in Nexon about this situation.
But i still hope for your help. When devs write they listen, but when tiny little players write noone does.

To sum it up. It is not a matter of publishing a one game in regions… since these are DIfferent games ffs!

Kroko, you only need 1 molotov to be thrown at the DD’s office front door. Solve it the russian way ffs.

I just think that these restrictions are caused by license agreements. The license of your country got bought by Destiny so they are hosting your version. It is the same problem at CrossFire - there are like 12 different versions and all of them are hosted by different publishers, cause they own the license for those countries. I do not think that SD or Nexon can change anything at this situation since they are bound by the contract.

This is probably the situation.

I think your best bet is to try and make destiny pull their heads out of their asses and realize they are screwing the game up by making it slower and ruining any chance of having a comp scene with the western world.

Keep trying and try harder. I’d yell at them over twitter but that’d break the NDA. I wanted to tell off that “pro” player who is ****ing up SD’s game but I didn’t want to get into trouble.

I said it a couple of months ago, if we will have a split community by regions, the game is dead before it was really alive. As it seems, we will have a splitted world which is really frustrating. But somehow I cant believe that SD is happy with this situation. Hopefully they are working in the background to get this fixed.
