This rotation is ridiculous

Hi,

Why the fuck BUSHWHACKER is not in the free rotation??? I unlock Arty the first day of the beta now in my squad i have the choice to take 2 medics and 2 supports.

What i’m suppose to do in Attack ??
No fragger / no inge.

The attack was already more difficult than defense before with all the Aura , but now it’s complete bullshit, i have just 0 way to pass a Aura indoor.

Yesterday i made 2 games with 0 fragger / inge in my whole team ( we lost twice in attack).

The rotation should always gave 1 inge and 1 assault for the good of this game.

Why would a “new” merc be in the rotation right away?
That wouldn’t be smart financially.
Besides, the turret spam would be insane, and echo data would be skewed like crazy.

Unlocking Arty, though… I’m sorry, man.

It’s a closed beta, it’s a “new” merc, he should be free for testing AND for metagame.

Yep, it is ugly but all enemies basically glow red, as shown below.

Now I don’t mine the older potato / single texture configs (I infact use one as I love the look) but these “glowing” enemies is one thing that needs to be restricted as soon as possible.

Oh I use one as well, for the intends of getting more FPS, I fully support that.

To make enemies glow red? … that is an advantage.

I was customizing my own ini file once and somehow made all character black. My world textures are pretty much already a single texture so it was so easy to see them. Should be disabled tbh.

They are going to restrict the costumization for configs anyway. Instead they want to make a decent optizimed game to begin with, so then no configs are needed and everyone sees the game normally instead of the picture shown above.

No, the rotation is not ridiculous. It’s fine.
Now, the pricing of mercs, that is something that has to be discussed… That should fix the “no heavy and no engi” problem too.

I unlocked arty as well and so far I am pretty satisfied with him (BR-16 is awesome ok)

agreed, already mentioned restricting this line and the effects one in the other config thread. gst800 posted about it on other forums on may 1st 2014 and got no dev reply though

Nice argumentation, if you are OK with a rotation who fulfill 2 roles (support / medic) over 5 (+engi , sniper, assault) good for you.

It’s not for me.

It was mentioned in the SD twitch stream yesterday that restriction of CVARS is coming.
Might be a few patches before you see anything.
