This rotation is ridiculous

Console variables, basically options open to change.

I agree the rotation needs work but with a limited about of mercs that becomes hard. When more mercs get released I’m sure they will open the rotation up to more than just 2 mercs a week, or however long it is.

Merc rotation is a joke. I bought Sawbonez as my first, and that was only because I had an Obsidian card for him. The new rotation gives me Sawbonez (no use) but also gave me Arty, and I have no love for that merc. So the game took a step back for me (unless I am dumb enough to pay).

Even better, one of my daily missions want’s me to play with Fragger in my party for 3 matches, now that he is out of the rotation. Ok, no worries, I will just stump up the £7 to use him for the sake of 600 credits! Haha, as if I would pay 10 x the price of what each merc is actually worth! Hahahahaha!.

Sorry if this offends you fanboys, but to me, I would think it would make more sense to plan dailies around the mercs available (the 2 starter mercs + the 2 in the rotation).

As is stands, given how the devs are doing stuff, I still think Splash Damage are a bunch of amateurs. There is a reason, even in a closed beta, they have still managed to lose a huge amount of players. Only a total moron would be willing to pay £7 per time for a new merc that does nothing to enhance the game.

But who knows, if they don’t get sales, they can always buff him until he becomes a must have, and once everyone has bought him, then they can actually balance him. GG SD, you guys are doing great!

configs will always be better fps wise than ingame presets. If the game ets optimized then i will get even more fps with a high fps config. Which is ok.

Agreed. I prefer to have 200+ fps. Now you can say “I game at 60 and feel fine” well, no.
I played CS:GO competitively (solo though) and got a 144Hz monitor. Even if I had 144 fps, I could still notice the difference between 144 and 240. A minor one, I’ll give you that, but it’s there.

Right now I get 120 with DB with my config and OneFrameThreadLag (One Frame Interval) off. I get often over 300 with it on though. Not sure what’s better…

If this game does get active competitively, I’m fine with the settings being locked down like in CS:GO. But only if the game is as well optimized as that one.

Well it won’t. CS:GO is a golden example of how well a game can be optimized; and how much an engine can be squeezed.

There will be limits on these potato cfgs; and if you can’t be satisfied with 100+ FPS, then OH WELL TOO BAD. : )
I’m playing at 60fps at most, with Oneframe=on and yeah its not as good as it could be; i miss a shot here or there. Who cares
