This is really frustrating

First off, I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong forum, but I can’t play Wolfenstein: ET! I start up the game, see the intro just fine, but when it gets to the menu where I’m supposed to make a profile, the cursor starts screwing up! Basically I move the mouse and the cursor will not move for about 15 seconds, and when it does move it almost never goes where I want it to go. I can’t alt+tab, ctrl+alt+delete, or anything. I can see the background animation moving at a nice fast FPS rate, so I’m not sure if that has to do with it. Any ideas?

Ah, that is not nice, especially whn one wants to enjoy a great multiplayer shooter like ET.

What system do you have (windows xp, mac)? Have you been able to play it before on the same machine?

i cant help but in 1 thing, get “q3e minimizer” and then with ctrl-z and ctrl-shift-z you can switch out from and to every id tech 3 based games

btw, ctrlaltdel works, u have to switch from the (should-be) default processes tab to the first -applications- one, and right clicking on et will show a menu which amongst other stuff contains “minimize”…

Do you have a graphics card driver installed?

Ah, the ‘profile create’ freezing… its a pain. To get it to stop doing that, try turning your desktop resolution down to 800x600/16bit. that should let you create the profile(-enter your name), then you can adjust your graphics settings accordingly.(and put desktop back to normal, too)

If that doesn’t work, get one off a buddy. they’re in etmain/profiles/
