So how do you feel about ranked now ?
Personally I really fucking hate it. I cant get passed silvers because everytime i get matched with some fucking guys kidding around that dont even mean to play seriously, they have no fucking clue of what to do in the game, and when you try to tell them the composition is not good or that this secondary objective is useless at this point of the game they just tell you to shut up. So for me ranked became a no go now.
At least when there was premade there wasnt pubbers. Which are way worse. So yeah imo as long as they dont put some way higher requirement to enter it, im not touching this game anymore.
I dont have anyone to play with but Duo queue would probably change nothing has more than half the team would stilll be deaf and blind about their teammates.
Its nothing but a 50% more credit 5vs5 pubs and with friendly fire on. Its worse than it has ever been before.
Some will say I just post this after having one bad team like that, well its true i had one just before but it went like that every fucking time i tried ranked.
“You just have to go past these ranks” yeah not really possible with teammates nader exploding your ass up during all the game

I feel like the new system is quite fun once you leave the silver pool.
But for that you have to get out of the silver pool ^^’

On average you get as many teamkilling naders as your enemies. Sucks to hear it but if you want to get out of silver, you need to carry. If you have shitty team mates don’t start sulking or raging and sit in a corner accepting defeat. Put your tryhard pants on and wreck some scrubs, that’s how you rank up.
Duo queue helps tremendously by the way, it reduces your chance of having another idiot team mate by 25% and you can cover a far better range of mercs. Fragger + medic combo can do wonders.
Ranked was only ever fun when I knew I could rely on my team. Once they got rid of 5-mans, I called it quits. Not even worth it.

Well most of the people i played with left ranked becasue of this update anyway so i aint playing duo queue anyway
Pretty awful. Lame wins and losses based exclusively on which team gets the highest amount of clueless players.
That may be true but at least we get double credits, he said with the optimism that can only be found in a naïve child.
I should play ranked one of these days. I get sorted with the worst of the worst every time I jump on a pub (regardless of Min10 or regular). Playing ranked would not only get sorted with the worst but I could wait 5-30 minutes to actually play!

Just wait it out until they make ranked play better.

Well if it serves some. In my case it just makes me lose my mind and want to switch to another game and never touch it again.
i can feel your pain, imo the mistake SD made, as pointed out above is how slow people advance. im positive that in a month you would experience much better games : most players have their rank and those who fool around dropped belownyour level. im confident in saying that anyone who reached gold witnessed a high concentration of skilled players who know all the basics. obviously there would still be those who are clueless about proper crossfires and teamplay, but generally speaking i havent seen this high conc of good playerd since close beta Potty’s pugs
I understand that there is a small population queueing, max skill scearch is always running, but I don’t understand why the 10 players picked are never balanced between teams. I placed in s2 and it took 51 (52 if I count the win that wasn’t recorded) to get to s1.
Last season I had a 3.0ish w/l mostly solo-queueing, now I’m sitting 29-1-21. That 1 tie was just about the only gg I had. Countless 4v5s, steamrolls, and surrenders aren’t helping the ranked population.

So I’ve got a few questions about ranked, and I figured this topic would be better since the Competitive Events part of the forum is kind of dead.
- If I’m ranked Silver agent with a score of 6/4 and I lose 2 more, am I brought back into like, Bronze specialist? Basically if I lose matches is my score brought down?
- I just finished the 10 matches needed for a rank, and I got Silver Agent, when do I get my trinket/when does this season end?
