Think kills will be satisfyinig?

Think this game will have satisfying kills, as in not like CoD where kills ands deaths happen so often you are indifferent to either one. Rather more akin to CS since there is only one life per round when you get a kill you’re happy as you just killed their team member who’s now dead for the rest of the round, another kill and you know you’ve helped your team that round with 2 kills on your 1 death.

TF2 also has satisfying kills in which when you kill a major target such as a heavy or a medic you know if your team is half decent this will help them advance.

I hope the kills on this game are satisfying.

Nope, if that is how you satisfy yourself with kills. Expect to die a lot. Look at some Enemy Territory footage to know what you will get.

Kills were very satisfying to me in ET and QW. Of course, nothing really gets off a last second plant or diffuse… but kills were consistently satisfying.

etqw kills were very satisfying imo. The firefights made it awesome, strafe from side to side, duck and weave all while trying to hit the head. It wasnt the same as cod is, where it is mostly shoot first and win (atleast thats how i feel). i hope brink has a similar firefight system to etqw

Killing people you’ve played with a while and know are decent is satisfying. Killing randoms is okay but looses its charm.

Well… I guess kills will indeed be satisfying, but not in the nowadays so ubiquitous “BOOM, HEADSHOT!” way. They will be satisfying, because they’re relatively risky and/or time-consuming to pull off and you will probably spend more time in the game just incapacitating an enemy and running for your objective. But that will give handing a downed enemy the coup the grace all the more a sense of achievement .

Lol no. They won’t be any more satisfying than your average CoD kill. The main thing that makes kills satisfying is what’s on the line. In non-respawn games a kill is far more satisfying for obvious reasons.

For me kills are less satisfying, knowing the enemy will respawn again, still enjoyable though

Hamstein. You should drink like a whole thing of benedryl. Everyday. Until Brink comes out. And then play brink in offline mode with the bots. All these things will keep you occupied. Because you lost me after, “Think”.

I don’t see the problem with this topic.

But yes, I think running up a wall while firing at a heavy, leaping off it and over his head, and landing behind him as he goes down, then rushing in for a melee finish will be VERY satisfying.

I also think that the Heavy who finally nails the art of keeping his Gottlung aimed at the head of the guy trying to jump over him will be quite satisfied with his kill too. And I’ll be impressed with his aim when I go down.
