A new story entry has been added:
[drupal=201]Things You Were Too Afraid to Ask: Olivier ‘nosebone’ Leonardi[/drupal]

For the latest installment of our award-avoiding series of staff interviews, we decided to dig our new Art Director Olivier ‘nosebone’ Leonardi out of the pile of Wacom tablets he’s been hiding in ever since he arrived here. Olivier came to Splash Damage from UbiSoft Montreal where he art-directed several games including Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones and Rainbow Six: Vegas.
To find out about his work for UbiSoft, how and why he ended up at Splash Damage, and all those other things he doesn’t want you to know about, read the full interview in this profile!

that’s a very professional profile you’ve got there. may i ask when you joined SD?

( i’m not too afraid to ask: and also for which game? )

Well, i joined SD in march this year, they had this reputation of being obsessed with Tapirs, and as i’m myself a tapir lover, i couldnt resist…
we have great plans here for our next titles, world of tapir, pro evolution tapir, tapir wars, it’s… amazing, endless possibilities…

All Hail the :stroggtapir: !!!

Heyy Oliver,

you have noo idea how influential your art has been onto me and i want to start working/drawing in that ‘exaggerated proportion’ kind of way. But, as youve been saying all along, its unique, so i cant seem to find anything that even remotely resembles a cross between hyper-realism and caricature. I was just wondering if you could guide me somehow into learning how to draw/design in the way that you do.

Thanks, Nick.

extremely short “interview”.
no dev contrib highlights.
no gamedev opinions.
no secret insight&etc.
so aside from being used in resume, practically pointless[2 read].
quick jump into biography and few lean-rolls[in fire] asides and thats all.
