They added in more rng so sniping this patch! Sniping is now even harder and even less viable!

For some fucking reason, SD thought it would be a really great idea to add in a disgusting amount of scope sway when you adada. Great! Now I have to be a stationary cannon when I snipe. No longer is this game about the freedom of movement, but now it’s like cs:go! Hooray! Ok guys, let’s just punish sniping more, you know, the most skillful class in the entire game.

Anyone who argues that scope sway is a good mechanic should probably stop playing fragger, and try playing only vas. I know there are a lot of you who think sniping is OP, however, sniping is the biggest uphill battle in the game.

Yeah Ninja nerf, I noticed it too, it has bigger wave-moment left-right and up-down depending where you walk. Sniping doesn’t feel that good anymore.

Sniper is annoying, and now when he is in rotation he is extra annoying ! Feel bad for u guys who like sniping but sniper is just in game for kills nothing more -.- .

I thought that I was imagining the crazy sway, but I guess this explains it.
I don’t main Vassili, in fact I don’t even play him that much, but I really dislike these kind of nerfs in general.

It’d be cool if they added a temp speed debuff for hitting someone with the felix, might make it unique again.

i didnt even play vasili seriously, just had fun playing him in pubs every once in a while, this took the fun out of it completely

Would rather they reduce mag size and slightly increase refire time, to reduce DPS and thus killing potential. (If it actually needed it, I guess ECHO must’ve said it did.)

Regardless of whether changes were needed or not, the current ones are bad. As is, those who used the weapon well and were skilled with it, suffer the most.

It did not need it. Vassili was one of the most balanced mercs in the game. He was just strong in pubs, because he took the most raw skill.

I think its meant to force Vassilis to move around unscoped and go for quickscopes, rather then cheez around corners with the scope on headshotting.

nerfs ‘strafe aiming’ while making, in general, snipers less mobile. crosshair still marks where the bullet goes afaik so it’s not deliberately misleading. the sway isn’t as bad as in cod either, which is nice. will play w it some tonight and see what’s up. pre-play though looks like it’ll force a different playstyle for vas but should still be strong if you have good flick aim. so now more than ever, stop scope FLICK fire, rings true.

you still have one shot, non revivable instant kill… i don’t see why you are complaining
