Anyway is there a way to hardcode the menu so no pk3 mods can change it? What .c files do you have to look at?

If its mod specific, you could define all “Menu Files” within the Source (ui_mp_x86 ?), instead of in the PK3.

Because I’m a coder-noob without a clue who only got into it to make the grenade fly longer 'n stuff. 
Well, that’s just sad that the biggest clan, experienced with past actions from some members of T.C./ETc clan is now doing almost the same thing. Moreover, it’s not the best way to build liked and respected community.
FYI, I’m not against facade functionality (I run one for my server too) as far as it doesn’t fool people. I believe it wouldn’t be a hard task to code such a false facade, but what would be the point of it?

Tbh the masterserverlist for 2.55 is way better atm. 2.60b has hundreds of fake servers which give me an error as shown on the picture. If I press reconnect I will get the same screen over and over again. I got this on a fresh install and on all the fake servers. As a noob I wouldn’t update to 2.60b 
From what I can remember F|A was one of the first clans that uses server facade. I personally don’t care if a server uses serverfacade if it’s running 2.55+. But F|A just dominates the masterserverlist with countless of fake servers with names that attract noobs. Is it good for W:ET? No. Is it good for F|A? Yes. This will also be the main reason F|A will never shut them down.

true that ruben, but look at this, if nothing is being done considering all those fake FA servers, why woudnt the other server admins do the same thing? Server facade can be setup in a matter of few mins and 99% of people can do it right now. So, and let some more people start doing it, at the end we will be stuck with 5000 servers showin up on masterlist and 95% of them will be server facade’s…
I wonder why they would do something about it right now. It has been like this for 3 years already. You can manipulate the masterserverlist in a lot of ways. Just put a few spaces infront of your server name and you will appear on top of the list

Few weeks back what u and your clan mates did? Copied my server names and started tons of servers/redirect/facades and what not. All those IP’s belong to your clan servers.

One day, I received DDoS attack from 62.75.222.16 … guess what? It belongs to T.C Mafia. Fun thing was I just contacted my host and they blocked your server IP’s.

Sadly many ET clan admin and players know you are nothing but cheater. I understand all cheaters whine and make stories of good clans when they get banned.
It’s the same situation that main menu pk3s create. If one do it, most people will follow.
The only reason I don’t have ~~~~~CleanMainMenu.pk3s specifically designed for the most popular main Menu pk3s on my servers is because then they would be servers full of spam, wouldn’t they.

Back in the old days this stuff was not even needed, because W:ET had it’s communities. Nowadays communities seem like rivals to each other, something this game does CLEARLY not deserve. That’s all I am going to say for now, this stuff is pissing me and pretty much any decent thinking person off I suppose.
E: Let me do a suggestion: Devil, as you are leader of one of the main communities causing these problems: be mature, and act like one, and more importantly, act as an example. Stop your facades, please, or at least give true information (instead of 99 players…). Of course you cannot rely on other people doing this stuff, but I hope the id software crew can solve this issue.

I agree with you… why not we start doing good things by disabling server facade redirect server? U disable on euro silent mod and I will disable on my euro silent mod as mentioned previously.

dont wanna go offtopic again, but just look @ picture from earlier post, its should be all clear about it, btw my facade is just showin my server in both version, you got servers showed in both version, and server with diffrent names and all that, well, discussion here is done for now i believe, now its all up to SD and ID.
SD and ID won’t do anything as it has been like this for years. I got nothing against a facade but showing fake information like F|A does is just wrong.
If your server facade version would allow you to change server name of 2.6b redirect server you would do that too like you are running current server facade. Don’t be jealous if your server facade version can’t do that. Why it’s all up to SD? SD will not disable your server facade. It’s who you need to do it. At one point you complain for server facades on 2.6b but at same time you keep doing it yourself?
I am going to say again. Disable server facade redirect on your server and remove junk menu pk3’s on your silent mod servers and I will do same for my euro silent mod server It’s as simple as that. I don’t think I can put more in laymen terms.
