Many of you think that the game will be released 5 june. Even many of you think that the game will be released this month. Its impossible … If Quake Wars are to be released in June the gold anounce should be just around the corner. And if the game is GOLD (Gold = done) there wont be a beta (beta = not done) because then it wouldnt be a beta. And we need more than just a few days to play the beta…
So before they release the game they must first release the beta as promised. Then we need time to play it… so they must anounce the game gold (after cleaning up the bugs from the beta)… then release a demo 2 weeks before release (as they said)… come on people… they dont have time for all this … June release wont happen.

Now hold on there, there have already been numerous posts about the release date which have been either locked or deleted.
There is no release date set…Any release dates you hear of are wrong, until SD/id/Atvi confirm it. As of yet there is no official release date, now give over about it.
i didn’t want to reply to this because i hate how many threads we have about the release date, but in the end i gave in to the boredom…
i think there is plenty of time for a june release. most people believe June 5 because that seems to be the most popular date given by vendors on the web (see here. sorry it’s IE only, excel sucks.) i think that’s just a date that someone made up and everyone has spread around as if it were fact, but that’s not my point.
a beta is not the same as a demo. a beta means that there are still bugs to be worked out. there is a closed beta going on right now.
however, a demo could very well just be a couple of levels from the finished product. everything i’ve read says that there will be a DEMO a couple of weeks before the games release.
i also did some research as to the amount of time it takes between a game ‘going gold’ and hitting the shelves. i found most activision games are between 15 and 20 days. so if the game went gold today, there’d still be time for a MAY release. and the demo could be thrown together and made public after the game goes gold and while we wait for the game to ship. i don’t think this is likely, but i’d love to be proven wrong

Silly me, when I preorder, that date I got for release was June 5th.
Now having done my fair share of beta testing, I believe that those iwho get in on the next part of the beta testing will be in the fine tunning of the game.Which from Fine tunning to release can go real quick 5-15 days. All depends on how much time they are willing to give the fine tunning beta.
Best Buy is the place I pre ordered the game from, I have yet to pre order from them, and have it not shipped on the date they gave me, which includes BF2 and 2142.
the game will come in june or july, if you don believe me then dont whyne, nobody knows for shure and we all think what we can.the game will come and the later the better(but not too late as things might get out-dated)
