If it is interesting for players or not , I m not entitled to judge.

However, this is Splash Damage forums. Last time I checked ,SD was the developer of this game. ET includes all mods , because without ET there wouldn t be any jaymod, nitmod, nq, etpro …etc etc…So everything related to ET, doesnt matter what mod we talking about , can and it is recommended to be posted here , specially when we dealing with such issues.

Also, the YCN , the hosting game servers company , involved in this massive scandal , made a so called name and reputation for them by hosting ET game servers, regarding the ET mod. I m pretty sure a lot of players here, use servers hosted by YCN.

I think I already said that I payed around 1000 euros, I never did the exact math, to YCN, through payment for my servers, plus 50 euros donation for TZAC, and I don t recall exactly how much for Clanbase donation. I m a person who loves ET and money was never an issue when it was about ET. Until now , when not only me, but other person who dedicated 2 years of his life to defend and keep alive one of the most important mods in ET had been completely robbed off. I heard about the british spirit of expansion and colonisation but I never thaught that things can go so far. My appologiez, when I reffered to the brits, I don t reffer to all the brits. Ironic, the company that gave us this so loved game, happen to be british as well and we are very gratefoul.

p.s. I don t even know if YCN pays any taxes at all

The log you posted is not a fact. You could have made that up or even if it is real, Chaplja could have lied… (Not saying that is the case, but it doesn’t make it a fact either)

I’d think normally Chaplja made / signed some kind of contract with YCN so maybe he breached the contract? We’re talking about a business here… If he didn’t then I guess he could persue legal action?

I’m glad you brought this to our attention, because shortly after it seems Chaplja has started some kind of campaign to threaten / ruin whats left of the competitive scene. I don’t see the need for all the assumptions though, if you can’t prove it then it’s kind of pointless. For example:

What are we supposed to do with that? Just another assumption, trying to spread rumours?
I don’t understand why you keep defending Chaplja, after recent events it would seem he’s not a “nice guy” thats just out to save the comp community. In the past he did us a great service, but with his current actions who is he really harming YCN or us the players?

He has been banned on Crossfire, probably by YCN guys, they also removed his donator status at TZAC. That are the reasons why he went fully retarded.

Pretty awful what happend (whatever actually happened) but we went for quite a stretch of time without any anti-cheat after the PB lag issues. Just needed good admins and thankfully at the time we did with guys like Killerboy (aka Goodguygary?) reviewing demos etc. to bust cheaters.

I could simply make a screenshot with the logs. No way I can modify that

I make assumptions based on what he said+ what is happening that being that he indeed had no access to tzac -> his own product.

If you would have read the logs with attention you would have seen that I bring the ideea of a law suit , but he just doesn t want to take it in consideration. Probably he thinks he doesn t worth it, or there was no legal contract at all , and something tells me there is the second part. He just trusted Marcus, that s all.

Yes I wonder if YCN pays taxes, due to the amount of money they take from ppl, is it only logical that they should be a legal company that means to pay taxes, right ?

I defend Chaplja , because it happends we have a common enemy. Marcus did not only ripped him off, but he did the same with me. There is other aspects regarding Marcus that involves me , but is not the place to discuss here, nor does involves TZAC, but for me it simply points out what kind of a person he is and what he is capable off.

Second , can you point out where exactly did I said if Dragonji did or did not anything for ET comunity , because I might be blind but I don t see it anywhere. Is Ycn a legit company? I tell you what is legit: Mc Hammer he was to legit to quit and look what happend to him. Mike Tyson was to legit and look what that got him to. Not a game hosting company started by a russian who lives in UK, who made a fortune, A BLODDY FORTUNE, ironically out of a free game, when this free game got it s own way of hosting servers, but because we humans are lazy and like our confort zone, some opportunist guy was smart enough to take advantage of this lazyness.

If you want to play smart with me, play smart and explain me why Chaplja had no access to tzac after his return, why he went on rage mode towards ycn and Marcus. Stay on topic is my friendly advice !

Well you said that Dragonji was a kid and all, that moderators should do something to him, and Zero explained why he isn’t. Like many people here, he has some knowledge and share it when people ask a question or have a problem.

I’m already impressed Zero continue to discuss with you, because TZAC is definitely dead with all that reading, who cares about Chaplja/Khaplja/Marcus/YCN anymore…

Seriously, drop the hammer. It would be more interesting to discuss about making a new AC software maybe :slight_smile:

I don’t really think defending YCN is off topic considering you’re accusing of stealing software and also of tax evasion. It’s also amazing that you’re “expecting to find mature people to talk with, not flamers/trollers.” when you start the thread by calling YCN staff faggots. That’s some really mature talk there.

I don’t really think defending Dragonji is off topic either, considering you’re the one who started calling him stalker/kid. If you want to know what he’s done to this community I’ll list a few things: Dragonji has hosted a very successful public server where hundreds of players have enjoyed playing for years, including me. He has contributed to the development of W:ET modifications and also to the development of ET: Legacy. I have to say that contributing to mod development is way more important for me than releasing an article or two for the competitive scene. While competitive people might find them more interesting public scene is still way bigger than competitive scene which is why I would say he has contributed a lot to the game.

Could it be that YCN had a contract with Chaplja and Chaplja breached it by disappearing like that for half a year. Disappearing like that would atleast make me wonder what is going on. Could it just be that his account expired (Because secure systems usually require user to change passwords quite often) or that they deleted the account because it was inactive. Instead of talking things straight like for example explaining why he suddenly dropped support for TZ-AC/moved the domain to point random IP/disappeared for ages, he went into a rage mode releasing cheats for TZ-AC, releasing TZ-AC source code and uploading images that are loaded into TZ-AC client pointing end-users to sites hosting those cheats.

Frankly, I have no idea why he went into a rage mode, but I know that him being the developer of the software, he could’ve just continued updating the software making the one YCN was hosting obsolete. He didn’t do that. All he’s trying to do is destroying the competitive community with his actions. Can you please explain why is that? As far as I know there was a moment when there was atleast one bot undetectable by TZ-AC, meaning the developers of that bot could’ve just made another undetectable one since the software wasn’t being updated. Chaplja was the only one capable of updating it meaning he had all the access in the world he needed. (He has the source code…)

I care about YCN Khaplja because there is a mockery to us all what Marcus did.

Khaplja never mentioned anything about a contract. I believe that all this was made on a …coffe break, talking, chatting, settleing an verbal agreement. He never mentioned that in case he dissapears YCN or Marcus can do what ever they want, did them? He wanted to come back, he could not. He tried to contact Marcus but no response, so how do you expect him to even work at the project?

p.s. I can call YCN as I please. They own me some money in case you did not complettely understood. However, I did nothing nor do I have anything to share with Dragonji and the rest of the trolling/flaming kids that unfortunattely I see they are here as well as they are on CF
