They tweeted that they are excited for next week. Pretty much answers that.
You’re right, I do recall that tweet from Neil Alphonso. What days do updates generally come out? Wednesdays?

I don’t think there’s really a specific day. I’d expect us to get the role call before the update though. Let’s go with Wednesday!
… I’m excited for my 1% chance of getting a special loadout from the event cases.
@Backuplight are you going to spend any real money? I won’t, so I guess I’ll see how far my credits take me and that’s that.
@kaMMakaZZi9 It depends. From the way today’s twitter reveals are pointing me, probably not. Which is funny, because I would absolutely buy stuff if it were worth buying. I’m expecting they’ll do the same nonsense from the last events where if you buy 10 elite cases, you get one bonus special case. Terrible deal, not even a small amount interested in that amount of RNG and 10 waste of space elite cases.
As I tend to say every event: I have money I’m willing to spend on the game, just give me something that doesn’t feel like burning my money to actually spend it on. The trinkets were a good start; I don’t see why they can’t just have elite case bundles made up entirely of special cases - maintaining something’s rarity doesn’t need to mean making it ridiculous to get.
@AnonOmis1000 starts to feel like skill doesn’t matter as much when your spread is random plus the aimpunch. Having my bullets go where I aim is my favorite part of DB. It really embraced the skill gap but they seem to be compressing it.
@K-smooth the bullet spread is still EXTREMELY tiny in this game when you compared to CS GO, which is considered one of the highest skilled FPSs out there. Bullet spread in DB only starts being an issue at far ranges, otherwise you’ll hit what you’re going for just fine so long as your’enot spraying and praying.
@AnonOmis1000 I know and it just doesn’t feel the same since I started playing this game. After 700 I’m game hours I feel pretty happy with the entertainment value I got from this game but if it wants to keep adding spread and recoil then I think it’ll be time for me to leave.
@K-smooth so I take it you won’t be playing any more FPSs ever again?
If spread and recoil is your problem, try one of the new CoD. Pretty much a game without spread or recoil.

or that high of a skill ceiling.
I play CoD but I know it’s a casual shooter. I play DB because it is suppose to reward the higher skilled player. When I am at a rhino/proxy head and they just aimpunch the crap out of me to the point where all my bullets miss the head, then this is not what DB is to me. I play OW as another casual shooter. FPS are my jam and DB by far has the best gunplay of all the FPS I’ve played of late, but it doesn’t feel the same as when I first picked it up and could not put down.
Ignoring the very rude person @K-smooth , I can see where your coming from, and I’m not a big fan of aim punch, as it kind of takes away from the skill of a duel.
And as for the “death of dirty bomb” I don’t think so, as there isn’t much competition to dirty bomb (and don’t say overwatch, because they are pretty different) and most people understand SD is quite small. But saying that, this next update better be pretty good, as personally I can feel myself getting bored.
I have played Overwatch, and if you expect that game to be better than Dirty Bomb, you will be thoroughly disappointed. It’s a terribly average game in its current state. The only upside is the fact that Blizzard is working on it which is pretty much a 100% guarantee that it will be constantly updated (RIP Diablo).
I really want to like this dev team and this new event, if done right, may change my mind on this game. If they start working faster and listening, this game could easily be the best FPS we’ve seen for decades.
Precisely. Like many people on this forum have constantly been saying.
DB has the potential to be one of the best fps since CS:GO. I genuinely believe that if SD does it right, we can see a future where DB is highly successful and being a top played game that is constantly streamed and has tournaments.
I don’t feel like kicking the dog while it’s already down. We have already seen how Brink could have been great but was a few patches and changes from it.
