On battery some Axis kept telling their team (not using team chat) to stay off the beach so a covert wouldn’t strip them down and sneak in the back. Well a little while into the game I chucked a grenade that landed up on the rocks behind a few Axis. When it exploded it blew 2 of them off the rocks and down to the beach. A covert snatched his clothes in the confusion and airstrikes …and him and an Eng got in the back door and blew the guns. After i heard some Axis bitching about who went on the beach…See…i told you…etc.
It was all due to my grenade and i’ll stick to that.

I think I played in that one against RiverStyx, it wasn’t me that ended up nude on the beach though.

I once joined a server and died all the time couldn’t get a kill, so after I beat the crap out of my keyboard I left the server with a broken keyboard.
Oh… WAIT! this is a thread about how good you are… DAMN uhhmmm you didn’t see what was above it was all in you head… Yeah thats it… All in your head…
Only thing I can think of is on Fuel Dump some Allie was talking in public channel about he has a uniform and needs a engineer to go back to the base and blow it up before the Axis knew what was going on. Being on the Axis team I picked the base spawn and died and waited for them. Shot 3 allies as they entered the door and then type in public “Thanks for letting me know you were sneaking in.” Whats really funny is this person thought “t” was team chat not public and they argued about it for a while.

the only thing i can think of is, once there were about 4 allies building the first bridge on fueldump and the tank was positioned exactly near the engineers building it. I someohw managed to sneak up to the tank, partly thanks to a smoke nade thrown badly by a cov op, went on tank and killed about all four of them lol ye, they did not provide much cover hehe

With most of these stories you never can tell when all the random events are going to coincide to make it happen. I wish I could just start recording and hope to catch something cool, but I would forget and fill my HD. Then I’d wonder why my machine is bogging down.

Could full games be saved server-side to offer download for people who them after every game? (to be erased after sending it to everyone who wants it.)
This would really build a huge amount of videos to be downloaded. Explanation of moves and moments would point to demos. And bugs would be much easier to define.

Behold, for I am speaking.
I was allied soldier on Battery once. I deployed mortar and killed about 10-15 axis. Then I realised it doesn’t help at all, since no one cared about uniforms and we had around 2 or so dumb engies. Axis got more careful and I got more bored. So I changed to Covert Ops, threw some smoke grenades, killed few people via sten and died several times. Then suddenly, assault ramp is finished. 2 or so lifes later I was running down the beach with pretty bloodstained uniform. Without a warning, weird yellow letters appeared and I was unable to move. Nevermind. Few minutes later I suprised axis soldier in the west bunker and added his pants to my pervert collection. So I climbed up the ladder, but again, my vision bacame obscured by that ugly yellow letters. Not so bad, I thought, but I couldn’t move ! On the next try, I made it pretty close to the lighthouse and started climbing up the hill. To my relief, I spotted an engy standing still around 30 meters before allied command post. I stopped right before him and waved my hand. Then suddelnly, he started jumping up and down and shooting his garand like there’s no tommorow. 2 clips later he seemed quite satisfied.
When the timer reached 00:00, one allied player started asking: where was the covert op ? It made me warm and fuzzy inside, because I love when they appreciate my achievements.

Ok heres one.
I was playing on Oasis as an Eng, and ran to plant at the Old City wall (we didn’t have the spawn yet but sometimes you can plant and blow it without fighting for spawn (still in the the first 5 minutes of the match))…
When what do I see as I jump down to the wall but an axis field ops at the team door…
He opens it, I charge after him shooting…
I kill him and am past the team door.
I say screw the wall I am going for the guns!
I ran to the guns planted at south, plant and plant again (lvl 3 eng)… no body comes… so I take of for the north gun (BOOM south gun goes)…
Get to north gun plant plant plant… and still no one… 30 sec later
BOOM!
and the axis team is all WTF???
Allies never took the old city never repaired the second water pump…

spoken like a truly experienced player. too bad people are getting so caught up in XP points and their “l33t” CS, er, I mean wolf skills.
I think if I hear one more CS player spout off about how medics who tk revive are XP whores, I think I am going to throw my computer in a pond :banghead:.
XP points and your l33t shooting abilities don’t mean a thing if your team loses. I can get a good group of DP guys together and get that tug down and back on railgun in a very short time. Yeah, our XP points are going to stink, but we won. oops.
