Thank you SD, for killing DB in Russia and CIS.

(Rengenius) #21

Yep. I have two clients, russian, where I can see only russian servers, and international, same as everyone else here have.
Also in russian client there is no friend list (lol), but there are Destiny Development logo and some kind of MMO anti-cheat system.

(Kl3ppy) #22

DB has the best anti cheat tool then

No, srsly. It would suck if all the CIS/Russians arent able to play with the rest of the world. Maybe badman can give some info about this.

(Ruben0s) #23

At least some real pro’s play the game right now. Cypher and cooller, now SD can make some cool youtube movies.

I think it’s good that the russians are currently using another client. SD can now test how valuable the feedback is from our side. I mean, if the russians complain about the same things, then something is wrong.

I would dislike a a separate client at the final version, because would this mean that I am not able the play games with some of my russian clan mates?

EDIT:

So the russian version will be released this autumn :o

EDIT 2:

There goes my international clan :<

(Finko) #24

All this pretty sad :[

(Kl3ppy) #25

I dont believe that the non russian version of DB will be released this year. There is so much stuff to do, cant think that they can fix all the issues till fall this year. And right now the balancing isnt close to be finished, we didnt see all the maps and weapons and loadouts, I think fall 2014 is a realistic release date
And I think that they wont release a russian version earlier than the other versions.

(MrFunkyFunk) #26

Yeah, some famous names to get people interested.
For a closed test launch: advertising in previous games communities / contests on social medias for keys / no “entry fees”

They have their own publisher forum, I hope we’ll be able to know if their feedback is any different than ours.

Are we going for EU-US / RU-CIS / ASIA(-AUS) (that SG passworded server with players we never see on ours)?

And tbh I hope the release date they give on the website/forum/networks is just a marketing move.
And they get in free, when are our lower-priced packs friends getting in?

(Kl3ppy) #27

Was wondering about the Guys on the SG server too. Never saw them (Just toomic I saw playing with us  )

(Rengenius) #28
They have their own publisher forum, I hope we’ll be able to know if their feedback is any different than ours.
At the moment, the feedback out there is pretty much crap, because of crowd of young cod fanboys, who came in to see another “free game”.

(MrFunkyFunk) #29

Cheers Renge, you’re our insider
How many servers are there for those players? Were there full yesterday?
So the overall limited first impression wasn’t good? Any words from the “sponsored” stars that were promoted for the event?

It does say on that russian dirty bomb webpage that the russian release is sheduled for this autumn.

(Kl3ppy) #31

So russians can play the russian DB this year and the us/eu guys can play it next year? I think thats unlikely
Or am I completely wrong about the current stage of DB? If this is the final game …

Like I said it’s either a made-up approximative date for promotional/placeholder purposes (but still, it’s the official DB ru site & forums) or an embarassing early slip for us.
Or we’ll all play different games.

Best to wait for an official clear-up answer tho (but still, would have been nice to let us know that our russian friends were getting an alpha too).

(Finko) #33

This silence of SD guys makes me worry.

16 serves, two or three of them were full all evening. Considering that on closed forums there are about 200 users with forum group “DirtyBomb tester”, and not all users, who received invite to alpha are registered on forums, I think it’s not a great success.

So the overall limited first impression wasn’t good? Any words from the “sponsored” stars that were promoted for the event?

Like I said, there is no appropriate feedback on the forums. Cooller and the other guy I think are the marketing crap, and I doubt if they even launched this game =)

My friends,on the other hand, who were competitive TF2 players, were much excited about this game. “This game on alpha test stage is much better, than was Brink on release”.

(Bangtastic) #35

if thats true then wow thats a shame!! i hope there will be still some solution

(Kl3ppy) #36

I hope we hear something froms SD

(Patriotqube) #37

This forum has members that has payed just to see some videos and to get into a beta, and they hand out alpha keys for free at this time to some russians?

wtf i feel violated tbh

Hope im wrong and SD clears this question fast

(k0k0nat) #38

So I guess ppl from splashdamage played too much dota 2 :3

(BomBaKlaK) #39

http://www.dirtybomb.ru/

colors look much better on the screenshots of this website
and look like free access to the closed alpha … no 120$ access …

(Wezelkrozum) #40

SD has been introducing players into the alpha very selectively to make sure all content keeps as secret as possible. And now you give a company the permission to give out keys for free to random people. I can’t quite understand your thinking process in the assumption all rumors are true.

Ah well, I’m curious to see what the effects will be in the long term. I hope they stick to the terms and conditions for the sake of this game.
