[TESTERS NEEDED] Dirty Bomb HUDEdit PROTOTYPE VERSION
As N8o said, this wouldn’t hurt to be stickied if @Xyfurion is ok with that : 3 After all testers are needed so all exposure is good aye? @Amerika , @Ardez ?
@UnexpectedCasualty as Bontsa said, you will need to install Java JRE 32 or 64 bit off the Java website.
@bontsa @N8o Wouldn’t mind it being stickied. It will bring in more bug reports. @Amerika @Ardez @Faraleth
@DexterGrif Care to suggest a new name? Software is still in beta; anything can change, really.
@UnexpectedCasualty The final version will definitely have a exe file. This is an informal release so it has the essentials. Install Java JRE, right click on .jar file > Open with > Java (or something like that).
Dependency on Java… kuch…
Other than that, nice to see you working on an HUD builder…
Just a question for someone who didn’t test this Hud edit:
What the difference between this and hud maker (http://wezelkrozum.com/temp/xt_hudconfig/v3/) ?
@Xyfurion Maybe just a space? Perhaps HUD Maker? I have no experience in these matters.
@ClemClem7 It’s outdated. I have answered this question so many times before. Wezelkrozum’s HUD Config was built for closed alpha/beta.
@Xyfurion
Aww, sorry then. I didn’t know that.
Thanks for the information.
@Xyfurion Hows progress going, have ya had time to dwelve into it after releasing this test-version?
Also a shameless bump to get possibly more testers!
“I have found in that hud maker, that while it still (somewhat) works, you have to offset the assets so they line up.”
@UnexpectedCasualty Mind elaborating?
@3N1GM4 Hello! Nice seeing you again
I hope you don’t mind, I have been using your HUD Editor as reference. Definitely going to credit you when the full version is out. It’s been a huge help
Nope, don’t mind at all. I haven’t played Dirty Bomb (or any game) since December, Toddler + New Born = 0 time lol. Glad it could help someone out, as it is now, it’s just another 80% complete project on the pile haha.
@bontsa Thank You!
I Didn’t get an opportunity unfortunately. I was waiting on bug reports this past week and working to fix the bugs.
My plan is as follows: work on it a little during the next 2 weeks until exams start. Once exams finish, I’ll try my best to complete it before travelling for the summer on the 4th of July. I will, of course, still be working on it as the game updates.
I still have a lot to do, if I set my mind to it, it won’t take too long. I have to add the remaining images and assets. Add the settings window, and the update function along with a changelog. Add the Load Preset function along with the reset and reset all functions. And, of course, the bugs… Oh the bugs.
